Have you looked at the Social Security Baby Names list? When we were picking a name for DD (all of the above were my personal runners-up - MH’s was Angela) I played around with that list and set it to different decades.

I have, I've looked over all the lists. I downloaded an app and we went through it together and reached the end without decided on anything.
I also don't want anything super popular, which I prob should've said earlier ha. I know so many Nora, Evelyn, Amelia, Olivia, Isla...
Anyone have any advice on what to do when it’s a *constant* battle to brush teeth? I’ve tried so many strategies and none of them work - it always turns into a screaming fit.

Ugh sorry. We did a lot of holding them down while they screamed. What works recently with the 5 year old is a toothbrush that has lights so he can see when it is ending. Sometimes when he’s being stubborn I have his stuffed doggie brush his teeth which he thinks is so funny. My older one liked to brush my teeth while I brushed his.
My questions - has anyone ordered from primary and felt the quality sucked? I recently bought four shirts to tie dye, and they felt really cheap and thin. After pre-washing the seam is ripping out in three separate places on one shirt. Since it was just a craft project I’m not returning, but I’m pretty disappointed since everyone raves about what great basics they are.
Next question - how much homework does your first grader have? We have two books at their reading level a night plus math (35 questions in a week) and it seems like a lot. And this teacher said she didn’t believe in homework…
Yes. I think the quality of primary does not match the price. I don’t shop there anymore

I let my kid choose a song on YouTube to watch. Any of those random cartoon song channels like cocomelon, Dave and Ava, baby angel... Idk there's a million lol. It's literally the only thing that's worked because I also tried every single tip, and she had all of her teeth by 18mo so we had to do a good brushing. The song works because they're typically 2-3 min long so it's easy to end when it's over, but is long enough to brush teeth to.
"Hello babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. On the outside, babies, you've got a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies-"God damn it, you've got to be kind.”

I literally sat on top of them and squeezed their cheeks to open their mouth during that stage. It passes. Tooth brushing is absolutely not negotiable so it was happening no matter how much they didn’t want it to.
