- Whole wheat English muffins - Wet cat food (and when I can find it, it’s significantly more expensive than usual) - Random grocery items (it seems like every grocery trip they are out of maybe 3-4 random items, never the same ones from week to week though)
Normal stuff I usually get from Aldi - crunchy PB, cocktail sauce and tarter sauce. Was able to find at another store though.
We ordered laptops & docking stations for my whole office a couple of months ago, everything is in except the laptops. We were informed when we ordered that they would likely not be available until late October though.
We were talking about this topic at staff meeting this morning - one person is waiting on doors that won't be in until Feb, another person adjusted which couch to buy to get one in stock at store otherwise would be April.
We have 2 reno projects at home going on and I was really worried we wouldn't be able to get what we needed but thankfully it hasn't been an issue yet.

Juice boxes are still out when I walk past that area in my store and then random things that come up are missing. Aldi hasn’t had pickle spears or kalamata olives in a while.
The microchip shortage is keeping me from getting my commission payouts, lol. I don't get paid on my sales until my customers' orders ship, and because of the microchip shortage there's a delay of at least like 120 days+ on so many of our products. I hope none of you (or your companies) need servers, routers, wireless access points or anything like that because you're not getting them any time soon!
I keep booking more sales because companies NEED these things, but nothing is shipping. It is killing us, and I feel so bad for companies who are in a bind because of this.
This is much larger than the tech world too. Cars, automated building supplies, medical equipment. It’s probably one of the more scary things to be short on. Rumor circulating is auto industry is in talks to go back to real keys and switches.
Auto industry is huge in my area, there are literally fields and parking lots scattered around the county FULL of vehicles waiting on chips.
I've heard aluminum is going to be harder to come by based on some issues my company has had getting packaging materials. So stock up on foil if you need it, I guess?

I’ve also noticed that things are lot going on “good sale” like they used to…
Publix is vastly overpriced unless you stick to BOGOs and then for most things the individual price is better so I buy two because I use them:
I haven’t seen PAM cooking spray, Mt Olive pickles, super pretzels, Pepperidge farm cookies, finish dishwasher tablets BOGO at all since the start of the pandemic. I think they’ve had other sales, but I have replaced with store brand alternatives from aldi because it was still cheaper than the sale price:
Sofa. I've been waiting since I ordered it in April and supposedly it will be here late November or maybe December.
Both of my parental units also have furniture on back order. My dad built a house last year that was completed in May and said if he had known he would have ordered last fall!
It's been well over a year since I could find anything but the very occasional spears (which, frankly, are not great).
I need to learn how to pickle things I guess, but goodness knows I don't need another hobby.
This is a thing isn’t it? I was at the store the other day and they had grillo pickles BOGO and I wanted to see what kind they were (the grillo spears are good btw but expensive for pickles). I couldn’t find them and I was thinking in my head they would be by the Claussens and I ended up finding them but the Claussens weren’t there! I rarely buy them because they are over $4 a jar which I think is ludicrous, but I was wondering if it was just Publix that didn’t carry them anymore. My mom said surely not, but I didn’t see them anywhere!
I just looked at Walmart and they do have claussens!! I’m going to have to buy a jar next rime I go! They really are hands down the best pickles!
I asked my local beer distributor about it and the woman working there told me that they were told that Corona Light is in short supply because they can't make the caps for the bottles because of material shortage, so they're only releasing it in cans, but they can't distribute too many cans of it because then they won't have enough material to distribute regular Corona which is a bigger seller.
My picky cats eat Fancy Feast (we've tried and tried to get them to eat better quality food and they are not having it!). It's often gone from the shelves. Granted I do usually try to buy it on a Sunday evening after all the shelves have been picked clean. But still!!
Ugh yes. This too. I have it set to Amazon auto ship, and it keeps getting delayed, so they I'm scrambling here locally to find enough to get them through.
I’ve also had a hard time finding hearts of palm. Progresso stopped making my favorite Light Chicken and Cheese enchilada soups last year and DH hasn’t been able to find Diet Rite soda since March 2020.
DS1 lost his cell phone and it was impossible to order another one and just pay for it outright. He ordered two different phones from two different vendors and both orders were cancelled and payment refunded because, while their websites said 'in stock' it actually wasn't and they finally said they didn't know when they would have more, here is your money back.
Anything technology related. I work in Computer Science and every order I have placed is on back order from batteries to drones to laptops. Nothing is processing.
Appliances. Our Dean ordered a mini fridge for the office (students steal things like pop from the one in the lounge...) and it was paid for 3 weeks ago. No clue when it will arrive. At home our dishwasher died and we had to take what they had in stock because they said there was no way to estimate how long something on order could take.
At the grocery store I haven't been able to get Brisk Iced Tea for weeks, cold cereals are hit and miss and I haven't been able to count on the meat counter having what I need for a while now. Wanted pork tenderloin? Bummer, burgers it is...or whatever the menu for that night was supposed to be. I kind of stopped planning and just see what's there.
Uncrustables. It's my go-to pre-run snack and I can't find them anywhere. Regular PB&J is not the same.
Oh no, this makes me sad. I was planning to get a box to take some on the plane with us because I know I'll need to eat something other than snacks outside of the meal service time.

This a genius idea! I never thought about these being plane safe

I looked this up a few months ago. It is a shortage in the glass bottles they use, so there definitely is a supply chain issue, and you aren't crazy! I buy multiple jars when I come across them!

Tennis balls and Aveeno shaving cream (if anyone has a rec for a shave soap that’s good for sensitive skin I’ve been wanting to switch to a more environmentally friendly product anyway)
We ordered our manufactured-here-in-Florida pavers for the courtyard in the first part of June, and they finally got here a couple of weeks ago. It was a month later than originally expected.
When I talked to our fence guy last week, he said that if we want wood we can get our fence sooner, (any delay with that is mostly because they are busy, not because they can't get it) but if we want aluminum, it would likely be February at the earliest.
DH ordered a kit in August, to convert our fireplace in the courtyard to propane. It was supposed to be here by now, but the date keeps getting moved back. I wouldn't be surprised if it gets canceled...we've had that happen with other stuff a few times.
It seems like they are transitioning from Coke Zero to Zero Coke? No idea why, but I still have no idea why Coke Zero was made in the first place even though people really like.
Speaking of Coke, I find that every 2-3 months Diet Coke will be out of stock EVERYWHERE for about a week, but it always comes back (so far).
My H has been having a really hard time finding unflavored Topo Chico.
This is my kind of post!! I will refrain from commenting all of the post and posting supporting articles. I will dig up a Tweet shared at work that shows the backlog at the ports.
I ordered H a pair of shoes mid-September. I won’t get them until Christmas.
Work gave all employees a pair of specific shoes. We were supposed to get them in June. Only the men’s version has shipped. Which is funny because I ordered DD and H same brand and hers got here in two days. H still hasn’t shipped. (Not the same brand from above)
Post all the things!!! This is also my thing right now and I want to geek out on it.
We ordered new appliances last Nov. In Feb they were installed except the dishwasher. The dishwasher was cancelled in May, they could no longer get it. We went back to the store and bought the 1 dishwasher that they had in stock, not the brand we wanted, but it was what we could get.
We ordered a garage door and patio door in May. They were just installed last week.
We ordered a living room chair in June. It came today.
We ordered a dinning table and chairs in Aug. They estimated they might have them in Dec.
