I know it’s stupid expensive…but seems like it could be worth it in some cases? I’m debating it to do all the Star Wars stuff when we are there in the spring. We only have one day (.it’s complicated) and it seems like a great way to do things if you can. Thoughts?
I want to at some point! Only thing is we were at DLR this week and it looked like they couldn’t just walk on every ride. We had a group with the guide waiting behind us in line for Indiana Jones. Do they get the virtual queue for you for Rise? For some reason I thought it’s still up to you to get that but I could be wrong. There is stuff about it in the DIS boards so definitely check there!

A person I follow on IG just did this last week at WDW. They only did one day there and wanted to maximize their time. They were able to do 3 parks with their guide, went in back entrances to parks/rides, and said no lines. You have to do a minimum of 7 hours and they ended up doing 9. They had 7 people in their group. They all felt the price was worth it afterwards and would do again. They couldn't have done half of what they did on their own. I do think you have to have tickets for all the parks you go to, that is separate.

For Indy they still have to watch the safety video so they enter the queue before that. Most rides you just get to enter at the FP merge point, which is still open for things like child switch or guest recovery after a breakdown. I’m sure if you’re a super famous VIP you get to skip all lines.
I would definitely confirm that Rise is available for the price. Last I heard you still had to get your boarding group and then the guide worked it into your day. The VIP tours are less tempting to me at WDW because of all the time you would spend park hopping. You would only do 2-3 headliners at each park because they’re so spread out. I would probably focus on just HS and maybe Epcot or AK. There are threads on DIS with reports and ways to optimize your tour.

Not sure it is necessary if all you want to do is focus on Star Wars. That being said it was a fun day and I think the person who paid for my tour thought it was worth it.
This is what we did this June (so FP was only being used by rider switch, DAS, tours, guest recovery)
At the time we had to get our own boarding group, they are not doing boarding groups right now. We did not need to use it at the scheduled time though. Our guide brought us back at the end to get us on Rise and he left us as we entered that line.
You could obviously pick more at each park if you limit the number of parks.

We did a few years ago and it was amazing. We spent the first half of the day hitting everything we wanted at MK, then we went to Epcot and HS and hit a couple of rides at each (and a few characters).

We did in August. It was gifted to us by a friend who is a Club 33 member. It was an incredible- and exhausting - day.
Went to MK Buzz HM
Meet guide at 10
Magic Kingdom Pirates BTMRR 7DMT Space Mountain
Animal Kingdom FOP Lunch at Satuli
Hollywood Studios MMRR ROTR MFSR Slinky Dog TSMM RNRC TOT
Epcot Frozen Test Track
Our guide was incredible - fun and informative. It felt completely different than a normal WDW day - which was good and bad. I took Bonine in the morning but still felt a little off from all of the rides. H says he never wants a trip without a guide again.
ETA: if I only had one day and could afford it, 100% no question I would get a guide.
Dumb question - how do you get from park to park? Is there special transportation (I.e. not the Disney buses?)?
Yes - they drive you.
We went through the main entrance at MK, rode some easy rides, and then met our guide. After finishing the rides in MK, we went out a side exit (cast members only) and there was a black Suburban waiting for us. The guide drove us to a backstage entrance at each of the parks and we had close parking to a sneaky entrance for cast members only. It was very efficient.

They potentially even drive you within the same park. We parked near Mexico to go on Frozen then got back in the car to drive over to Soarin. The were able to provide us with booster seats. I assume if you needed a five point harness or rear facing seat they would be able to provide that.
When we were there in June they were requiring your to wear masks in the van. We also had to sign a waiver for the van.
