I just checked and I now have a tracker! My payment count is O but hey, progress.
Yay! When did you send you ECF form in? I sent mine a month ago and even though I KNOW it won’t be updated yet, I check every day. My H sent a new one in in December and hasn’t seen those payments applied yet either. Being patient is hard!

I sent 2 in Dec and 1 in January...the waiting really is so hard!

Ok I got 3 letters from FedLoan last night, once for each of my positions. 2 of the jobs are listed as eligible but showing no payments. The other they said they need longer to verify. Sound normal?

Yay for some movement!
For the 3rd one they need longer to verify, was it in their system through the PSLF help tool?
In ‘you have to laugh so you don’t cry’ news, I just got an email form FedLoan that they applied the waiver to my loans serviced by them, and confirmed a zero balance. Yay! Except, that’s about 1/4 of my loans, since the direct loans at Mohela never transferred. 🤦♀️

I'm assuming not...I don't know what they need to do to verify
I was always told I wouldn't qualify for PSLF even though I've worked in non-profits for close to 10 years. This thread made me look into it further and now I'm going to try and apply. Thanks, GBCN!

I don't remember your loan history and I know this has already been a long drawn out process. Remind me why they aren't all consolidated together into 1 loan?
I cant figure out how to check the EIN but I'm sure we're not in there, I'm the only full-time employee. Looks like I will just have to upload some additional documentation if asked so that's easy enough.

Ah that’s probably exactly it. Once you give them more information, it’ll be in the system for the future for anyone who comes behind you.

I honestly didn’t understand anything about loans when I took them out, so that contributed to it being split.
Mohela is years 1&2 of law school, consolidated together after year 2 because rates were going up. Nelnet was consolidated year 3 loans, but FFEL. I guess because of how I consolidated?
I guess I could have consolidated them all together since I knew I had 120, but because the direct loans were already direct and consolidated, they should have transferred and not been a problem. I opened a new ticket with the student loan site, since they just closed it out with today’s waiver application, even though my actual complaint was that the other direct loans hadn’t been transferred to FedLoan.

Ah that makes sense. So annoying they still aren’t capturing all of your loans, but hopefully that gets rectified soon.
I heard back from my senator and congressman today. They are going to have just one handle the inquiry so there aren’t replicated efforts. I’m supposed to talk to someone tomorrow about it. I’ve never done this sort if thing before.

Thanks, gretchenindisguise! I hope they’re able to help you quickly. I’ve helped loads of people get their accounts sorted out through my job, and it’s weird to be on the other side, when something goes wonky.

Before the waiver was announced I contacted my senator, of a very red state, about all my issues with PSLF. His liaison contacted me and I sent her all screenshots and records I had for everything. No joke, less than 2 weeks later two of my loans showed as eligible for forgiveness when I had been stuck in manual review for over a year. Not sure if the senator did anything, but it was very coincidental if not. Then about 2 months later the waiver came out and everything moved fast after that. So, hopefully it’ll get things moving faster for you!

That's actually pretty awesome! Good for you for reaching out!

Thanks! I just uploaded my crazy ass timeline including times I directly inquired to fedloan and uploaded all of the terrible communication they send out (ie your counts have the waiver applied! When they actually don’t).
H got a letter from Fedloan stating they will be transferred, he has qualifying loans and his employer is qualifying. Says they need to confirm he has the appropriate number of payments, which I know he does!!! YAY
Hooray!!
Unless they correct themselves in the next few weeks, which I doubt - the first letter he gets with a count will say he has like 0-3 payments. It will say that this includes the waiver. This is misleading, they applied the waiver based on the extremely limited information they can see. They will then send over the Dept of Ed and then that’s when you’ll see forgiveness. It may take 6 weeks or 9 months to go through from where you are now.
I logged on to Mohela today to the very pleasant surprise that my loans have disappeared, so hopefully they make it to FedLoan very soon. I never saw my updated final count when they forgave what had been FFEL loans, but it’s such a gift to have them forgiven that I don’t care how that turns out.

Glad you've seen progress!!
I still haven't. I expect another wave of forgiveness tomorrow, and I'm hoping I'm in it, but have zero expectation I am.
I got a call from my Congresman's office on Friday and they are going to make an inquiry at DOE to confirm they received the account for a second review as a FedLoan agent told me verbally. We shall see if that does anything. All in all, I was a bit disappointed at their response. She said they couldn't do anything direct with FedLoan because they aren't a federal agency. And I had to walk her through a specific question to ask DOE for me. Meh, we'll see.

Wow, that’s incredibly frustrating! I’m so sorry. That’s a real BS response, which makes me assume they’re getting a ton of these. Fingers crossed that they catch up to you soon!

The waiver was applied to my H’s account today and he got the trophy on FedLoan that said he’s made 120 qualifying payments!!!! Looks like he just needs to certify employment for Jan-March 2022 and he’s done! EDIT: He doesn't even have to do that! He's done!
He was one that didn’t need to do anything extra except keep certifying his current employment and wait for the waiver to be applied. He was already in right loan type and payment type and in the PSLF process. He had about 15 months paying and working in non-profits before he consolidated to direct loans in 2012. Also had some late payments that didn’t count, and various periods of forbearance.
About a week ago, the employer cert he sent in in Jan for 2021 was applied, and then today looks like waiver applied to cover those 15 months, the late payments, and the months where it flip-flopped between payment and forbearance in the same month.
I had calculated that he’d have 111 payments after the waiver, but I didn’t include the weird forbearance months.
Now we just wait for mine. I had to do the whole rigamarole because I had never consolidated to direct loans, but that’s done and FedLoan has received my PSLF application.
