I never realized what a huge overlap there is between fanatical Disney cruisers and anti-COVID people. Every FB post on this and the DISBoards cruise forums is pretty packed with people super angry about having to cancel their plans and angry at Disney. So they're gonna show Disney how angry they are - by booking a parks trip to Disneyworld instead.

The first FB post I saw on this was "gee, how to choose between a lifetime risk of blood clots for the kid or the Bahamas."
I had to stop reading after that. Yeah, the Bahamas doesn't want your germs either.
We booked a 2023 cruise before this announcement. I figured it was far enough in the future that things would be ok. Now I feel like we have a little more piece of mind.
A Disney planning group I’m in on Facebook is all up in arms.

This doesn't surprise me at all based on what I've seen on the news stories, disboards, etc.
I'm surprised that the Disboards is letting that discussion go on - they're pretty quick to shut down covid discussions on the DLR and WDW forums there.

As long as the posts are centered on "I'm cancelling because of the policy" and nothing to do with their stance on vaccinations (which they don't need to specify since we can figure it out from their anger over cancelling their trip), they are letting them stay.
