I recently booked our Disney trip for Feb (with Costco) so we are all set with a hotel and park tickets and reservations. Is there anything else I should be reserving beforehand? I'm not super interested in doing any character meals, but I don't need to book regular restaurants for park days, right? We are going 2 days MK, 1 day HS, and 1 day AK.
Do we need magic bands? I saw they're about $20 and there's 6 of us, so I wasn't sure if that's needed.

If you have specific sit-down meals you want, I’d probably try for a reservation 60 days out from your trip. Not a lot of the table service restaurants are open/at full capacity right now, so it can be hard to get reservations.
However, I’ve been watching the Disney app on and off, and it seems like a handful of reservations and walk-up lists open the night before and day of.
I just went without magic bands and it was fine. You get a little credit card ticket and that’s what you scan. I think you can also use your phone and Apple Watch. I liked the times we went with magic bands, but they’re not necessary, in my opinion. It may be easier with kids, just so you’re not juggling a bunch of different cards and stuff but eh.
Are you planning on doing droid building or light saber building? That can be booked in advance at 60 days out, too. If you have Star Wars people among you, I’d try for an Oga’s Cantina reservation. That place is fun!
Otherwise, if you’ve got tickets, park reservations, and hotel taken care of, you won’t be kicked out 😂
