Ride closures

We are goinf to Disneyland on Feb 1-3. My planner just emailed me to let me know haunted mansion and splash mountain would be closed as of Jan 10th.

I am really hoping that the haunted mansion closure is the normal 10 day closure post holiday season. Any insight? My planner is hesitant to make any promises lol.

It’s listed as a routine rehab, however it doesn’t currently have a reopening date.

This isn't the big Princess & the Frog rehab, it's yearly rehab. It goes down pretty much every January since it's not ideal riding weather anyway.
HM always goes down for a week or so in early January for the NBC overlay to be removed. Same with Small World later on in the month. I'm kind of side-eyeing your TA for not knowing this happens every single year.

I think she knows but she said she didn't want to guarantee it would be open. But I just looked at the schedule and Haunted Mansion will reopen before we go and Its a Small World will be open the last day we are there. So that is exciting! Splash Mountain closed to spring though.

Ha ha. Awesome. I know Feb 1 and 3 is Disney after dark, so the park closes at 8pm.

The 1st and 3rd DLR closes at 7 and DCA at 8. 8pm is the normal weekday closing time for both parks on weekdays during the winter.

My son is going to be so sad. Splash mountain was his favorite. We’re going March 1.

I just saw Expedition Everest is closed until mid-April for “routine maintenance”- that’s a LL+ ride, is it normal for it to be closed for that long?? We’re going the last week of March and my daughter is finally tall enough to ride it. She’s going to be so upset : /

I'm so sad about that.  That's one of my favorite rides of all time.

It’s getting a pretty extensive rehab. That is a long closure for a typical rehab.

We will be in WDW next week and my kids are bummed! It’s their first trip and they were looking forward to riding it.

Splash Mountain is only closed a month. It's reopening Feb 10th I believe.
