Help me plan a last-minute spring break

I’m a bad planner, as you can probably guess. 🤣 But I’d love to have a fun spring break with my kids—we haven’t had a vacation in nearly three years. Since our spring break runs March 26-April 2, there isn’t much time to plan anything, so I’m hoping y’all can help. It would be me, DH, DD(6), and DS(8); flying from Chicago.

Hers what I’m looking for:
-Somewhere warm, in the U.S.
-Something kid friendly, like a resort with a waterpark or even better, a kids club
-Not WDW (that was our last vacation) or 30a area of Florida (I’m DYING to go there but hear it’s a madhouse during spring break)
-Looking for relaxation for adults
-Doesn’t have to be for the full week but at least five days
-Open to spending $$$ if it’s worth it
