Would appreciate some thoughts on this. We are doing 3 days at DL for the first time in the fall. My youngest will be 6 but is the size of a 4yo and does tire out. H thinks she’s too old for a stroller but I think we should have one for her to rest and hold our stuff for us. At legoland last year we did use a stroller and I thought it was helpful while he thinks it’s annoying (but I push it). WDYT?
I did a quick 2 day trip with my older kid when he was 5, no stroller, and he was fine.
But for all other trips, we take a stroller. I wouldn’t care if the kids didn’t sit in it at all, actually. I use it to hold our ice chest bag, water bottles for everyone, whatever glow or bubbles things they bring, and whatever we buy. We typically just move the stroller from land to land, not every time we do a ride or show.

We just did Hershey park with a new 4 year old and six year old. We forgot our stroller.
My six year old was fine, but my 4 year old definitely needed it. Thankfully we were with my sister and she had her double. I logged almost 24,000 steps that day.
But as others have said the bigger issue was our stuff. H took the big water bag back to the car after we were done with the water area, and it was a hike. We had a backpack and it got real old real fast carry it around in the heat.

Weighing in a bit late on this but I was an AP from the time my kids were infants through 1st grade. I can count on one hand how many times we brought a stroller to the park. I hated parking them, maneuvering them, dealing with it on the tram to the parking lot, worrying about it being stolen or having items stolen out of it (we have a family member who works in park security and it happens ALL THE TIME). Depending on the crowd size, especially now since there's no "down season" it can be harder to move through with fireworks, parades, etc. We usually brought a backpack, rented a locker if needed to dump the excess stuff (jackets/blankets if we stayed late) and it's unlimited access with your daily rental.

I would say yes but only if you can use one of the teeny tiny fold up ones. Navigation with a big stroller is a PITA and so is a cranky tired child. If you want to maximize time in the park saving their legs means you can stay longer without tuckering them out.
My boys are 7.5yo (ASD) and almost 6yo. We went at the end of June and took our double stroller. Definitely thought about whether or not to take it but am SO glad we had it! We parked at 7:30am and were back to the car at 10:30pm. It was nice to have when they needed a break (and I didn’t worry about walking back and forth from one end of the park to the next when we needed to). Plus, it held all of our stuff! Made the day much easier 😀
