How do you get smells out of silicone? I have numerous silicone items and they all seem to hold onto a soap smell and leave a faint soap taste on everything. Some have been only hand washed, some put in dishwasher. I've tried vinegar soaks and putting in the sun.
Shoot I had more questions but now forgot!
Also we used compostable trash bags at work and they rip very easily esp with any sort of weight. But yours prob won't be getting as full.
Try a baking soda paste. Baking soda and water in 6:2 ratio, cover and let sit for 1-2 hours. Wash with warm soapy water.
Oh, I forgot I do have one - I just got an e-assist cargo bike! We live in an urban area that has increasingly more protected bike lanes so I finally went for it. We are a 1-car family and use it fairly lightly at that (less than 3k miles per year), but now I'll be able to replace some of the trips where walking / public transport didn't make sense for whatever reason with the bike.
@@ The main challenge has been when I have to do pickup for both kids with schools in different directions. With work hours it always mean having to drive to get them both by closing. Now I'll be able to easily manage that with the bike.
Re: kitchen cloths. I used an old dark blue bath towel, cut up and then we store them rolled in a basket on the counter. They aren’t very big, close to a washcloth size. Maybe that rolling helps with air circulation? We’ve been using the same batch with no stink for about 2 years.
Just so people understand the level of crazy sale this is - a decent non-electric hybrid bike costs around what they're charging for the RadMission. Also a replacement battery costs about what they're charging for the RadMission. And you get both!! If you've even SORT OF thought about buying one of these, and you have the dollars, do it. It's a screaming good deal.

Alas all sizes and colors of the Mission bikes are sold out, and have been all morning . Some of their midrange ones are a good deal and I'm thinking of taking the leap. The problem is my urbanizing but still suburban area has a lot of 35mph roads with no bike lanes, so I'm thinking I may need to try a rental from a local bike shop before dropping $1k.
My recollection from college was I felt unsafe in areas over 25mph without a lane.

Oh man, I didn't check that they were still in stock before posting. But yeah, the discount on the radrover and radcity is still good! Traffic engineering best practices say that most people feel unsafe over 25mph without a lane. You're in good company.
I tried the Castille soap and water method, but it made the bottles clog up or not foam as well and seemed to dry out my hands more. I have terrible dry hands in the winter, so I had to switch back to the pre-made stuff.
