We weren’t planning on doing anything again this year, but sort of last minute (last week) decided we wanted to. So timing is limited, but I’m working on a costume for us (led stick figure people - pics to come).
I know lots of folks here go all out with their costumes, too, and I wanna see ‘em!
Here’s my half-assed deer costume. It’s for a neighborhood party and we have a ton of deer around here this time of year. Me and my neighborhood bestie are twinning, not sure how many other people will have the same idea.
My office is doing a costume contest - so I wandered around the Halloween store looking for inspiration this weekend. I didn’t want to be ‘sexy whatever’ or have super duper make up, or be scary which left me few options. I opted for a blue wig - to wear with my college football hoody - to go as a “super fan”. Ha. Done.

I haven't dressed up in years, the only place I go is work. They are having a contest at my FT job but I don't feel like buying a costume just for that.my cheap and stupid costume is a piano; I have leggings from (MLM) that I bought YEARS ago and my mom used her cricut and put the sheet music for the "Funeral March" on a Tshirt.
I’m going to be Carmen Sandiego and H is going to be Ted Lasso. We never dress up but I am feeling festive this year lol.
One year I was Carmen Sandiego and DH was Waldo (from Where's Waldo). It was so fun! In all of our pictures I pulled my hat over my face and he was poking around a corner, LOL!

I really want us to be Loki and Sylvie, yet even though I've had this in mind for a year, it's October 26th and I still haven't done anything about it. Oops.
My boss is retiring this year. She has a very "iconic" look at our workplace. I'm going as her for Halloween at the office. Probably not doing anything outside of work.
I'll be working, so not dressing up. Especially since I have no plans for this weekend. One of these years I'll finally dress up as Penny from Inspector Gadget, a costume one of my friends suggested to me years ago. Usually for out and about I'll throw on a dance costume and try to make it work as something (flamingo, peacock, devil, flapper, etc).

it would be so fun if everyone at your work dressed up as her, lol.

Our work team did this one year for a tech lead that had a big loveable personality and distinct Boulder style. It was amazing.

have trunk or treat on sat. i will try and post a photo of my 'trunk' (i have a Jeep Gladiator so not really a trunk) & my costume last few years i went all out with my Wrangler trunk and last year i used DH's Wrangler trunk b/c i had no ideas with what to do with the Gladiator. this year i came up with one and i think it will be fantastic.
This year we got light up masks and gloves which is kind of lame but also par for the course with everyone getting older. It was fun at a Halloween party because we could take a pic of someone a put their face on the mask. Last year was great, billionaire spacemen. Lol
