I didn't do audio so I can't personally offer an opinion on the audio specifically, but the book is pretty incredible.

Thanks for this, I downloaded it yesterday! Off to a good start. It's not often that audiobook recommendations come along that are available to download right away from my library so this was a nice surprise.

This is the best book I've read this year so far. I expect that could change after I read the 3rd Beartown book but we'll see.

I had heard of the book and heard great things. I never paid attention to the name of the author.

I learned of JD Vance because of his horrific campaigning in Ohio (my mom lives there and told me). 

To now know they are one in the same... EW. Thank you for sharing that!
