I am on the search for some items on my kids lists and there are sales right now and I am trying to determine if I should buy now or wait for actual black friday/cyber monday to see if I can get a better deal?
The maxi deluxe scooters are usually $155 and they are $30 off and free shipping right now which seems good but will this get better?
Also there is 25% off one toy at target and I think I am going to use this on the our generation horse barn DD1 wants cause I think this is the best deal I will get on this.
I got the Gabb phone for free, and then it is $25 a month for the line.
DS is 12. He has executive functioning issues, and issues with getting obsessed with games, so I decided an iPhone would not be good for him. I didn't want to purchase an expensive phone and then he loses it, and I wanted something that is locked down without internet or games.

I don’t know that you would do much better on the scooter pricing. But now and call for adjustment if it goes lower anywhere. Is this Amazon? They will price match. I saw a Calico Critter house for a steal at Walmart and Amazon refunded the difference.
DS wants an electric guitar, but I'm not sure if we'll be able to find a great deal on that online vs. local store. My H was looking at one here in town and they are definitely $$$! Tack on lessons to that so he can actually learn to play.
I wonder if lulelemon ever runs good sales?! (probably not!) DD has a few of their items on her list.
Lego sets are tricky - not usually a lot of deals! Sometimes you will catch them as a lightning deal or deal of the day on Amazon.
I'm not even sure what I'm looking for! DS wants Pokemon cards and I know nothing about Pokemon (neither does he, though!).
I'd start with one of those tins or box sets that include various packs. And a handbook.
From a mom of another Pokemon lover-the tins are the way to go. My kid wants nothing to do with playing the game, but loves opening packs/trading. Costco had 4 packs of different tins (4 different ones) for $65; each tin is usually $25-40, so a good deal! I bought a 4 pack to split up for friends' bday presents, too, which seem to be a hit.
Walmart was doing 10% back on toys through Rakuten last month and that was a way to save on stuff like Legos that don't go on sale. It is very rare that I see Walmart offer 10%.
I need to start building my shopping list for Black Friday. There are some jackets the staff want at the office. Some pants with pockets for myself, maybe some new tops for work if I can find them.

Do you have a link to this at Costco? I’m not finding it online….

It is right on the manufacturer website. There is a deal on them on amazon but its only for 1 and I need 2. I think this is prob the best I will find...

DS is into Pokémon cards. I just stated buying the random tin packs at target. Another gift idea- DS wanted a binder to hold all of his cards but the only one I could find was super expensive. I got a $1 binder from Walmart and sleeves for a few bucks. I printed a Pokémon picture from online. It cost like $3 total. It’s a huge hit. His favorite thing is organizing his cards.

Darn you sadie - I'm now down a rabbit hole of fun Costco toys and just ordered the Pokemon tins and two other things
Lol, sorry! I couldn't pass up that deal..esp with all the upcoming 7 year old Pokemon phanatics' birthdays coming up!
I always forget to look at the toy deals at Costco. Sometimes you can find some good stuff!
Yes! We recently bought a bunch of 16" squishmallows for a crazy deal at Costco. They were $15 each plus $30 off if you buy 4. We bought online and got 4 for $30 total shipped! They are bigger than I was expecting, but my kids will love them. Kind of wish we had just bought 2 though... The extra $30 off deal goes through 11/13.
I also bought a big Lego Friends set that the price was 20% off compared to everywhere else I could find it ($79 at Costco, $99 at Target/Amazon/Walmart). It might go on sale, but we were there so I just grabbed it as an early Xmas present for DD1.

I am so sad the Rainbow Axolotl is sold out! Somehow my kid became obsessed with axolotls this year, lol.

AWw man, I should have posted this when we ordered. A lot are sold out now.
Does anybody have Usborne book recommendations? Any fun books or real winners with your kids? My neighbor is hosting one of the online parties, and I feel like I should buy something…

Oh man I could go on forever with recommendations. We have soooooo many Usborne books! Favorites are: any of the Nibbles books, Look inside the Body, Dragon Post, Beast Fest, Big Book of Spanish Words, Book of nighttime, Look inside nature, The Missing Bookshop. The Magic Painting ones are great too for the 4-6 age range.
I could go on and on. And no I never sold Usborne. 😂 I just love the majority of what they sell.
