I use a monthly planner and I always get one for around $6 at Homegoods or Marshall’s and use them all year without issue! I love a paper planner but have found I need a quick glance. I use the back “notes” pages for all kinds of random notes but that is enough for me.

I use Erin Condren for my paper planner.
I’m super scattered, though, and I also keep a white board calendar for the family, and three electronic calendars (work, family, and one that pulls them all together). My brain is all over the place a lot of the time and I need lists and calendars and planners to keep me sane, but I need many of them to keep track of it all. 😂

I used to use Plum Paper, but this year, I'm trying bullet journaling. There never seemed to be a PP layout that was exactly what I wanted, so I can customize the journal however I want. I've only laid out 6 months so far, so if the layout doesn't work for me, I can change it.
I will preface my recommendation with saying that I’m a list maker and always have been, but I found my ideal planner last year. The BlueSky Note It planner is by far my favorite and I have one dedicated to personal use and one for work. The two I have are the smaller versions, not the 8x11. I already have my 2023 versions ready to go!
Each week has a daily section, To Do list, goals, and notes. I use the daily section to keep track of meetings and daily tasks and use the other sections for weekly or longer range goals. It also has a monthly tabbed calendar at the beginning of each month and a general notes section in the back.

I am very into making lists. This one has potential to be a contender for 2023. I put one in my cart.
I really liked this to-do notebook in 2021, I somehow lost it. I'm buying another one. I purchased it at The Container Store, but I just went down the rabbit hole of their main page and there are many planners on there too.

I love paper planners. I like to write out to-dos and reminders for work. I currently use one that is Cambridge by Mead, but I've also used and liked one from Excello Brands. I need ones that have a calendar view of the month and then large, lined sections for each day of the week. Must be 8.5x11" and spiral-bound.

I use the BlueSky too.
I love that the planner has weekly to do's as well of tons of pages in the notes section. I run though the notes pages in a couple months with a regular planner, but this one lasts me all year.

My favorite right now is the Laurel Daniel planner. I like having the ability to view the monthly and weekly/daily calendars and a to-do list at once. I usually prefer a Sunday start and a little more space to write but having the multiple views makes it easy to overlook that.
I have several because I have given up on the "one planner to rule them all" mentality.
For my personal life and goal planning, I am using MakseLife flagship vertical. makselife.com/ ewall This may be something to look into. I have used PowerSheets in the past and ditched them after they were bought by the super religious company. ML is super inclusive. ETA: You can get just the goal planning part without buying the whole planner.
For meal planning/grocery lists, I am using a Hobonichi Weeks (I purchased off Amazon since shipping for 1 planner from Japan was bonkers). amzn.to/3Fv8Hxg
I also bought a monthly planner amzn.to/3iFPvUH and a Scribbles That Matter notebook amzn.to/3F3Pl0H to help me keep on track with a side business I am planning to start in 2023. I couldn't find a monthly with a decent amount of note pages in between the months so went with the double whammy.
Some To Do/activity items show up in multiple planners but there really isn't a ton of cross over between the planners.
I liked the Life Planner but found it a bit too much for me, ie lots of pages/sections I didn't use. The following year I tried a monthly planner and it was perfect. Kind of a planner/notebook combo.
I bought my first one last year not knowing I could customize it. I don’t use the weekly layout so this year the salesperson helping me suggested I swap those pages out. I had no idea! So now for 2023 I have a planner that will work perfectly for me.
Is the one you’re using Erin Condren? I might check that option out.
Yes it is an Erin Condren monthly planner, and it's a decent bit cheaper than the Life Planner. I know there are options to add extra notebook pages as well if you do a lot of writing/notekeeping.
