NYE Plans conflict (mostly deleted; thanks)

Mostly poofed this. I felt railroaded into a plan by DH when kids and I just wanted to stay home. We're dealing and doing the compromise plan.

It sounds like he’s bored since he’s been home alone and wants to go out but you guys are celebrated out. Both are understandable but I can’t see dragging the kids and you to something they don’t want to do. Can’t he go alone?

This, exactly. No one is wrong. He should go; you and kids can stay home and y’all can celebrate together after dinner.

I’m going to echo everyone else. No one is wrong. I would tell him to to and have fun. If you and the kids really don’t want to go, you guys can stay home.
