1. Keep my sewing room clean. I spent 6 hours over my holidays cleaning and purging. The biggest issue is that I WFH from there when I need to and papers from work were accumulating. Bahahahahahahaha OMG it’s even worse
2. Play with my cover stitch. I’ve been too intimidated and short on time as of yet to delve in. I want to be able to do a neck binding on a knit sweater. Nope, still need to do this.
3. Work from my fabric stash (lol forever). Related: finish projects I’ve started. Somewhat successful. I definitely bought less overall this past year.
4. Make a bathing suit. I made two and am working on a third!
5. Make 4 more bras, including a longline strapless bra. I made 2 more bras and a longline strapless! Not bad.
6. Start making my icelandic wool sweater. My Mom brought me back wool as my Xmas gift. It’s going to be scratchy but delicious. I have knit the two sleeves and the body! I’m just about to join for the yoke. This is not as much as I hoped, but I got distracted by a bunch of knit baby projects.
7. This should be higher up the list but I need to get my main machine serviced so I can quilt two quilts. It’s been fine for piecing but the timing is a little off when it has to go through batting. I sent out the quilts for longarm quilting, and I did take in my machine for servicing, however I have subsequently dropped it and now the feed dogs don’t go. The good news is I bought an embroidery machine that I have been using for sewing in the meantime.

Thanks for posting!
1. I made a purse pal. I used it in England this summer and never moved back into my big wallet. I also made LindsHandmade H2O 2 Go bags for three of us for the trip. None fell apart!
2. I planned to start Christmas orders on Oct 1. But otherwise it was chaos. Sorting my SewFlamingoSew offerings by month is still a goal.
Here’s a new goal for 2023
1. Sew more. I made a doll that I seem to make yearly and really enjoyed sewing her. My kid is wanting to learn to sew too, and mostly clothing, so maybe we can learn together.
2. Start second pair of socks. finish them in less than a year. that seems reasonable, right? Lol, NOPE.
3. Hit the 50% mark on the ill advised MASSIVE husband blanket and decide if it's actually going to be that big. work on it steadily enough through February that I can actually gauge speed and get an idea of when I might be able to finish the thing. - even bigger LOL. I'm maybe 1/4 done? Probably less.
4. Buy No Yarn until at least 2 pending projects (besides the ones above) are finished. NONE WAWA. NONE. ZERO YARN. - ummm, oops.
A coworker and cousin had babies so I "had" to pause my other projects and make them blankets. I love baby blankets.
I got sidelined by a pile of baby projects too wawa. They are the best temptations. That being said, I am now two baby quilts behind, maybe three technically. Oy.

Looks better than my first attempt at that pattern! lol
"finish or frog" all my sewing projects. I frogged about half the projects I had started and knew I wasn't going to finish. I have a few left that I do plan on finishing.... but I have barely picked up knitting needles or crochet hooks this year. Just haven't been in a good place for it.
Make curtains for three of the rooms in our hhouse. Nope, but in my defence, the hardware has been out of stock for AGES. Also, money. I need to make this high on my list for this year though.
BUY NO MORE FABRIC. unless i need something specific for a project but I have to use a majoraty of stash fabrics I mostly succeeded in this one! I did make a few new purchases that fed the stash, but not nearly like previous years.
Keep my room/area cleaner adn more organized (Need to invest is boxes, shelves, etc tho) I did this! I got some shelves and totes and have everything in bins. It still devolves into chaos periodically, but it's been much more productive than previously.
Learn & practice with watercolors. Haven't even touched them. whomp whomp
For 2023, curtains is my only goal. My job is creative and sometimes I just get tapped out on that, and I don't want to have to make anything in my downtime.
