The family put out a statement talking about all of this. Basically they say it’s not true, they’ve given her proof and she is unwell.

I’m assuming Kate and Gerry have DNA on file in case anything randomly came though the system. Could Julia just submit her DNA to compare it? Or would they need K&G to agree to a comparison?

I think because she is unwell.  It seems they have provided support to their daughter for years.  She is fixated and would probably not believe DNA results supplied by her parents.

Yeah, I'm thinking that Julia is not a very reliable narrator.  When you look closely at her story, things start to fall apart, IMO.

In one of her posts she talks about starting kindergarten in September 2007, which was just 4 months after Madeleine's disappearance.  I know children pick up languages faster than adults, but I'm having a hard time believing that a British child would be speaking Polish fluently after only a few months.  Also, does she think that her parents just showed up with a British child one day and no one around them questioned it, at a time when the McCann case was a huge international story?

I mean, this woman is almost certainly not telling the truth, but kids start school without a complete grasp of the language all the time.  Is this not a thing in poland, or do you mean that somebody from the school would remember her speaking english or...something else I'm not getting?

Is it just me, or is the coloboma on her opposite eye?

Unless there’s some weird trick of photography going on, I’m looking at these photos like, what am I missing?

Regardless, I’m sad for any family that experiences a very public tragedy like this one because people come out of the woodwork to revictimize them, whether intentionally (seeking celebrity) or because they’re not well themselves. Just look at what the Sandy Hook families have gone through. On the one hand, all the attention puts pressure on investigators and increases the possibility of credible leads, but on the other, there are countless weirdos in this world.

They say they have already given her multiple forms of proof - her birth certificate, documentation of hospital visits, early photographs - and nothing convinces her. I can see saying enough is enough.  I can also see fearing she could misuse the DNA analysis. She has already gone public with her claims despite contrary evidence. 

Personally, I am not sharing my DNA information with twitter and would not trust someone who has trouble understanding reality to keep it private.

She did a DNA test to establish genetic history which proved she's polish. She still has not submitted samples to directly compare DNA with the McCanns. The whole thing is a giant scam.
