pinkdutchtulips, yeah it should not take years. I'm sorry, that is a crappy situation that has clearly been a disservice to you and your daughter. I hope she is able to get on a treatment plan soon after your meeting. When DS2 started ADHD meds they were fast acting ones and it was near immediate relief.
4speedy, I'm so sorry. I hope your treatment is over quickly and wishing you good health.
I mentioned last week that we wanted to start leaving the dog out of the crate sometimes. We got a Wyze camera (thanks for the rec!) and it's amazing how well that works and how easy it is for just $35. We were able to watch him this morning while I drove my son to school and now I know he spends his time watching and waiting for me to come back. LOL Walking from the window to the door is still some exercise. It was very cute. I could see him sitting by the door as I was coming up the steps. I opened the door a crack and told him to go lay on his pillow and he did it right away. He goes crazy barking when we leave and come back, so it was really nice to leave and come back without any of that noise. It's bad for him and really bad for me! He was just wagging his little tail when I came in. Some dogs are less anxious when they're not restrained so this will be a nice way to experiment. I'll still keep him crated when we're gone for long periods, but sometimes I don't even want to run a short errand because it's such a scene leaving and returning. It will be great if we can fix that problem.
This reminds me of a funny story. Our old house had small dog doors leading from our house to our screened patio and from the patio into the yard. Our chihuahua had no interest in using them ever. We, including dog, had lived in that house for 5 years when I was home on maternity leave and the water meter reader came. To get to the meter he had to walk the length of the fenced backyard. Dog immediately tears through the first doggie door onto the porch barking like Kujo. Thankfully he didn’t breach the second door. I asked the meter reader if he did this all the time and he said pretty much lol. I felt so bad. The secret lives of pets!

I posted in Home & Garden about a contractor we recently hired to do some work in our backyard and the front of our house. We asked all the right questions, talked to references and were feeling really confident about hiring him. His crew came by today, did a quick painting job that my husband said is awful and now they’re trying to charge us $4000 for it and when my H called them on it the contractor said he was insulting him. I’m really bummed because I have been looking forward to having our backyard done and had been pushing this project for about a year. I hope we can work it out.

I had 1 client leave, and 1 get here at the same time. Not difficult, just did a little juggling. One of my guest dogs pottied on a dog bed, cleaning it up was super fun lol.
I found out that a friend had tongue cancer, and her husband's in the ICU from heart problems.
Went to look at the place we are having oldest kid's graduation party today. There are 6 kids having a party together so we rented the event center at a local ranch. It's gorgeous and huge!
Between that, graduation announcements that should be delivered tomorrow, and college tours starting next week, I am a mess. I honestly did not think they would make it to this point alive. The nextn3 months are going to be a whirlwind!
DH & his college roommate are talking on the phone and catching up. They’ve now reached the point where they are comparing their colonoscopies 🤣. Holy hell, we’re old.
nancybotwin my neighbor texted me earlier that she's going to drop some homemade hamentaschen later. Is there a greeting for Purim (ie: the equivalent of Merry Christmas) that I should say to her when I see her?
Not sure if it’s too late but you can say Chag sameach (pronounced khag sa-may-akh) or happy Purim!

I can't believe your kid is graduating! We're getting old!
