The Bluey-themed birthday party for my about to be 5yo.
I could honestly talk for hours about how much I LOVE that show (that and Jersey Shore-- the dimension of me as an individual is ✨️impeccable✨️).
Please tell me fairy bread is on the menu! Surely it's been featured on Bluey more than once (but I'm early in my Bluey watching career so can't say for sure)?!
Quick trip to a Great Wolf Lodge next weekend with my brother's family. The kids will have fun and even off-season, my SIL and I love to shop in Traverse City. Should be a good weekend.
My husband gets comped a platinum badge to SXSW every year but he's not using it this year for whatever reason, so he transferred it to me. I'm going to spend the next four days at the film festival and I'm so excited!

My kiddos’ spring break. Their nana is taking them to visit some extended family and I’m excited for them to spend time with wonderful great aunts and uncles and excited for me to have the TV to myself for a week.

Oh Biscuits! (Bluey cookies), bum worms (sour crawlers), keepy uppy (Bluey balloon, uninflated, to play at home) and Rita's beans (jelly beans) and some Bluey tattoos are all in the gift bags 😂
I have a good stretch of things coming up on the calendar that I'm really looking forward to!
- Spring break next week - We're just going to a resort north 2 hours, but we all need a change of scenery - Girl's weekend at the end of March with my sister and best friend - I have a 90 minute massage/soak scheduled that I cannot wait for - Taking the kids to the last MN Wild home game in April - Taking the whole family to see Hamilton in April - this was a family Christmas gift
We are heading to Belize soon. I have been wanting to do this trip for like...15 years. I am unsure what took me so long to get there, but also I feel like I've built it up a lot in my head.

Getting our boat back in the water as soon as the ice is off the lake. Longer days for fishing and boat trips. Swimming. We are putting new swim ladders in the river in front of our house, so I am really excited about that too. It's so crazy, I have lost the urge to travel for now.

I took shot 1 of wegovy yesterday. I'm so excited to get this going. I've been around a size 20 since my first pregnancy (10 years ago).
This summer we are going to visit my ILs in Philly. We'll do one day in NYC since the kids have never been and I'm so excited for them. Also me and MIL always go window shop at the KoP mall but I told DH that if I've lost weight by then I plan to go wild with some good shopping lol. I miss enjoying buying clothes.

I started PT yesterday with a PT who is actually a runner himself, his office walls are decorated with his race bibs. I've been having a hip issue for YEARS now that has been limiting my running, and I'm so hoping he can help me fix/manage it. I feel like doctors always tell me, "oh, it doesn't hurt when you don't run? problem solved!" and that is not a solution for me.
Date night with H in 2 weeks! We haven't had a babysitter in ages, so this is long overdue. It is also restaurant week so we're going somewhere fancy. Yum!
I'm starting to plan our summer and this year feels a little less stressful that last. Hopefully it stays that way. We have a weekend away planned for July and a full week vacation in August. Can't wait!
We are taking the kids to Williamsburg at the end of this month! It has been awhile since we've traveled/gone anywhere fun so I think it will be fun to go out of town!
Out to dinner tomorrow to celebrate our anniversary. I just hope we have enough energy to actually go out....been another long week!
Baseball season with both kids playing is a marathon, but I love it. Spring in western Washington can be absolutely glorious (it can also be awful, thank you 2022). I love the crowds, the friends, and watching the both play.
I have four back to back trips coming up that I am both excited about and dreading. The thought of being gone four weekends in a row is making me a little twitchy, but each trip is different and fun. - Phoenix for a baseball tournament with DS1 -- looking forward to warm weather and 1:1 time with him - San Diego for our family business, a sporting event. I'll be with my brother and his wife, my step sister and her kids, and my parents, and will get to be outside all day and see a bunch of friends. - Maui with both kids over easter / spring break. - and finally a weekend at an adults-only spa hotel in a nearby mountain town. I'm still on the fence about this because of exhaustion and expense, but I think it will be so great to get away with my BF.
That said, my school is in the middle of a huge covid outbreak right now so I'm trying to temper my excitement.

Thanks for asking this question - I've been trying to keep positive by looking at some fun stuff I have coming up.
I have a cruise coming up that I'm taking with my daughters (was supposed to be a family trip but I don't want STBXH going).
I have a surprise birthday party for one of my college friends in April. I'm excited to see her and all my other friends.
I have a work trip to Nashville the first week in June, followed immediately by a health/wellness retreat my good friend is hosting (she is a personal trainer and owns a very successful gym). I'm going to need a weekend to refresh after all of the divorce stuff going on.
Big thing - going on our trip to Istanbul and Cappadocia with my parents in late May. I think it's going to be such a great trip and we've been talking about it for about 18 months already, so it will be so good to finally do it!
Before then, I'm looking forward to going out of town for a night to Pittsburgh to see a hockey game in a few weeks, and then seeing Lizzo locally in early May.
I am also really looking forward to the end of the semester. This one has been a lot of work and I'm over it. I miss being able to work and come home and not feel like I need to be working on something else.
