Hmm.. We are planning to buy a house this summer so I am looking forward to that. Also raise and bonus season. I am not looking forward to moving, finding a house and the stress of all that but it will be great once we get it accomplished. We also have a week this year at our timeshare in Sedona that I need to book so I am looking forward to that as well.
DS1 graduates from HS this year, so I'm looking forward to all of the festivities surrounding that. A party with lots of friends and family, my parents here from out of state. Our school does a few fun things prior to commencement, too. I'm happy to celebrate him and the awesome young man he's become.
My bulbs coming up! Warmer weather! I can’t wait to be able to read, craft and answer emails from the yard again.
I did schedule some classes to take and (car) travel for this spring but one after another got canceled by the organizers so my whole spring is free when it was supposed to be pretty booked up. Which can be a good thing!
I am very much looking forward to getting out of my walking boot after breaking my foot on 2/1. Supposedly this will happen next Saturday - fingers crossed that turns out to be true!
DH and I have a fun weekend in the city planned for the last weekend of March to celebrate.
"Hello babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. On the outside, babies, you've got a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies-"God damn it, you've got to be kind.”

What a great thread!
Looking forward to my spring tennis teams, my first one started today and I had so much fun.
I'm also so excited to celebrate our son's 18th birthday, senior night, high school graduation and college in the fall.
Also our 16 year old daughter is about to start driving. I won't be carpooling anymore!
Looking forward to a low key spring break visiting family and friends, a trip to Charleston SC this summer, with DH's family. I love Charleston and the beaches
We are taking the kids on a safari for two weeks this summer.
DH and I are celebrating our 20 year anniversary and his 50th birthday and he's retiring.

Going home to my husband and dogs after being gone for six weeks!! I have been with my moms house for her recovery from spinal surgery. I miss my husband and my bed!!
This month: My DD and her Odyssey of the Mind team are competing at the state competition in a couple of weeks. If they get in the top three for their problem and division, they will go on to the World competition in May.
My DD is competing this year as well for the first time, but since our State competition isn’t until April, guessing we won’t compete there. I’m awful though because I don’t want them to make it to Worlds. That’s either a lot of time fundraising or around $1500 just for her to go. I’ll send her, but since she just got into a 3 week pre-college program for June, she’ll get that dorm experience and it’s only $500 more and a LOT closer to home.
Things I *AM* excited about: Her and I driving to Northern IL tomorrow for a weekend vball tournament.
Family trip to Florida next week to see our favorite band, my college BFF, and a spring training game or two.
Baseball for DS officially starting in April (indoor practice since January but like actual games). While the kid’s’ volleyball families are great, I miss my baseball family! And I hate myself for that sentence because I swore I’d never be that person but I am and I’ve come to accept it.

If all goes according to plan, I will be graduating with my 200 hour yoga teacher certification this weekend. It’s been an intense & incredible 6 months and I’m ready to be done.
Christmas is May with my family. Due to having a brain infection and subsequent surgery at the beginning of Jan the holidays were canceled. Take two was supposed to be in February, Covid canceled that. I hope to see most of them before then but holiday plans at my sisters lake house.
Ok douche, go ahead and call it mud. My husband DID have halitosis. We addressed it after I talked to you girls on here and guess what? Years later, no problem. Mofongo, you're a cunt. Eat shit. ~anonnamus
I'm with you. Nothing to really look forward to here. No trips, nothing fun planned. Just work and putting one foot in front of the the other every day.

We are going to Greece in April. I am sooo excited about it.
And then to Canada in June. And it’s a huge reunion because my H’s brother and fam are coming from Australia (we haven’t seen them since 2019) and my H’s cousin is coming from California (we haven’t seen them since 2016?). All of us have kids now and it’s going to be insane and fun.
And then hopefully I will finally hold my little double rainbow baby in my arms in September.
Short term: Cut & color date with my niece followed by drinks and small plates at a nice wine bar. It's St. Patrick's Day. In Philadelphia. So table is booked. I'm old and hoping to avoid the green beer crowd.
A good friend who moved away 3 years ago will be in the area. She was my mom-mentor and talked me down from many a wall when DS was young. We'll have lunch while she's here and catch up. I really miss talking to her.
Long term: Between DH's medical stuff (nothing awful, so far) and ongoing mom stuff, I need a break. Like a long weekend away. DH wants to visit his brother in Dirty Myrtle; I am not a fan of either. I'd like to spend a long weekend on Cape Ann or Midcoast Maine, but Mom'll want to tag along. I tried to send her up to visit her family in Boston, but her sister is away and my cousin decided to come down instead. I do not need more folks to host.

In the next 6 months - I just got a promotion at work to a new area, so I need to learn the new book of business and a new team. I hate feeling unsettled right now, but this too shall pass.
Then in general, summer coming, with pool days, some long weekend trips etc.
Visiting my brother in San Diego in July. They had a baby in June and we haven't met in person her yet. I am excited for my DS to meet his little cousin, and to hopefully do some fun things with him out there like the zoo, maybe Legoland.
Some things in the more immediate future: My school has a random day off on the 17th, and our friends always have a big March Madness party that day, so I'm excited to go hang there. We're also going to a murder mystery party and a charity gala in April. And my 20 year high school reunion is in June. We had a small, close-knit class and I am legitimately excited to see everyone.
Also, getting back out on our boat hopefully by April/May.
We also have March 17 off but I’m salty because I would love to go away but I feel like anywhere I want to go is going to be a madhouse with the holiday.
Celebrating my 50th birthday in Nashville in May! We're going with 3 other couples and I'm SO looking forward to it! We planned a Jack Daniels tour, Music Row Happy Hour at Margaritaville, and a pedal tavern.
A few weeks later we're going to Rochester to watch the PGA tournament at Oak Hill. We're meeting family there for the weekend.
