Family Style Restaurant UWS NYC

Anyone have a recommendation for a restaurant that serves family-style on the Upper West Side in Manhattan? I’m seeing a few in my google search but would love some recommendations. We are aiming for an early dinner. Thanks!

I don’t have any specifics, but I’d imagine most family Italian restaurants would serve family style.

My father loves Carmines so much. He’s very enthusiastic about Italian restaurants and family style in general but Carmines seems special in both what they serve and how they serve it. The last time my teenager visited, she asked to go to Carmines.

Whenever I hear family style I think of Carmine's.

Jacob's Pickles is great but not family-style. The portions are big enough for 2 though. They also don't take reservations and the wait on weekends is long.

There aren't very many true family-style places on the UWS, Carmines, Red Farm, and Lucciola are the only ones I'm familiar with, unless you want to do dim sum.

How come? I’ve eaten at one of their other locations and thought it was fine.

We also love Carmine's. Even my husband who doesn't love Italian when go out to eat. The experience is definitely part of our love.
