Found my Knot profile?webpage?bio? and I am dying

Guys, this is so embarrassing. Does anyone remember doing this on the Knot or Nest? I think it was a link in your bio or something and everyone made a website...thing? To share wedding details?

I don't know, just enjoy laughing at me. I don't know who I thought was going to read through it, I had pictures and wrote stuff for each thing. I explained to the internet every stupid detail of the proposal, planning, things I was buying. I HAD A LIST OF KNOT ACRONYMS!

And just so you know...

The concept of our wedding is "rustic elegance". A simple color palate of chocolate brown and ivory will let the true beauty of our reception site shine through. The details will be in an "antique" theme - to best blend with the existing decor.

LOL--A few years ago I found some backed up AIM convos (why were they backed up?!?!) on a CD. So embarrassing!! OMG And the away messages "At class XOXOX Leave a note!". Who the eff cares? Why were we so dumb?!?

Thankfully I never had a bio on knot or nest. I just followed you assholes here and started posting. So nothing to dig up there!

Omg, I don't even want to look for mine. I was 22 when I got married, and 21 when I joined the Knot. I can't even imagine the levels of cringe it probably is.

Oh thank god I don't have anything from AIM, but I remember crafting the perfect away messages with ~inspirational quotes~ and *meaningful song lyrics*

Same here! Anytime I read a pre-parenthood status where I was SO TIRED, I want to reach through my phone, squeeze my own throat and say "YOU DON'T KNOW TIRED!!!". If I was tired then, it was from having too much fun!

Recently someone dug up and commented on an old Facebook post of mine that was like "25 things you dont know about me" circa 2009. Why was she looking for it? Why did she comment so it re-entered the news feed? Who knows.

I wanted to crawl under a rock thinking about people reading some of the stuff I wrote. I probably should just go on and delete it.

TK/TN/TB all could get pretty mean as well. Glad we chilled out over here. I mean... we have the acronym because people would announce their departure quite frequently! I am also embarrassed for how we acted at time.

Also if I say this three times in a row, maybe she will show up....

jinkies I remember when I did that 25 things you don't know about me. I made my then FI (now H) do it too. Thankfully I've deleted mine. His is super cringe worthy. He's never on FB, however he needs to either delete his page or at least delete some stuff.

I searched the internet for mine (from 15 years ago) and it was no where to be found. I even went to the knot website and searched and the furthest back you can look is 2022 so I’m guess they scrubbed all the old ones.

My dad used to do this. He would find something I had posted years earlier, comment on it and possibly ask questions. Fortunately, I have never Vaguebooked so I could answer if warranted.

There's a meme I've seen that says "No one has less in common with 2023 me than the me that wrote my 2008 FB statuses".

Every time I go to FB, I use that time to delete all my memories.

I've figured out many acronyms over the years but I've never actually knowns what GBCN stands for. 

Someone enlighten me. I was infrequently on The Knot message boards but I have no desire to see if my wedding page still exists.
