If so, did you have to book separate appts for each kid? I've read some stuff online suggesting you could take both kids to one appt, and nicely ask if the agent can process multiple kid applications.
I realize the best way is on the way back from an Intl flight, but the kids aren't going on any before our Dec trip.
We did get global entry for our three kids. But we did interview on arrival at the Toronto airport on the way back from croatia 5 years ago and then we didn’t need to interview again when we renewed recently. I have heard that you can bring kids and they will likely do the interviews for both at the same time. The kid interviews are pretty short and easy.
Yes & I booked separate interviews bc I could easily. If you cannot do that easily, I’d bring all kids with you to first appt & see if they’ll take care of it. Appointments are really short so it’s not super onerous.

We have global entry. We did separate appointment, but we got them for our kids at separate times. I think the “let you” comes down to the day and the officers on duty.

Yes, we have it for both kids. We scheduled each of us a separate appointment, although they took us back all at the same time, so it was way faster than the actual time slots booked. I wouldn't assume you can have 2 kids share an appointment.
Yes, we have gotten it for all of our kids and did separate appointments.
With my younger two, we did it as soon as we could after they were born, right after getting their passports - so they aren’t on the same 5-year renewal schedule anyway (meaning they’ll always need separate appointments). But if I had been doing it for both kids at the same time, I probably would have asked to see if it was possible.
