You can't be black and knock on a white woman's door. Holy crap. People try to use these stand your ground laws for anything. If you throw a rollerskate at a child and confiscate an IPad, yep you are getting a knock at the door. I don't care if the knock was aggressive and there was yelling. Just don't answer it. I do not believe Ajike was breaking down a door lady.

The shooter shot her THROUGH THE DOOR??? How could she possibly justify feeling threatened enough to use deadly force if the front door of her own house stood between her and the victim?!?

I feel so sad for AJ’s family. I am horrified that he son was standing next to her when she was shot. Her son is the same age as my son, and I just can’t imagine the pain and the trauma he must be experiencing.

How in the world could this be justified??? I mean, I know there needs to be an investigation and reporters need to be objective, but it's just so ludicrous to look at this as anything other than what it is- cold blooded murder. The shooter had been racially harassing this family for a long time, physically assaulted one of the children and now shot the mother. None of that shit is justified. I stopped reading at the Stand Your Ground law part because I was getting too angry.
