Oh wow that sounds great! I assume you can’t spend time together due to childcare difficulties? I hope your next time together doesn’t have to wait another decade!
Yes. We have no family in town, so our date nights have been few and far between. Fortunately, in the last several months, DD is doing well enough we can leave the kids alone for a few hours so we've been able to go out without them once a week.
Ok thats Good! Not joking when I say I was gonna offer to Venmo you money for a babysitter, but I’m glad you can leave the kids alone now and get out weekly. It’s so important! Have a great trip.
We are sitting on a beautiful beach ! I grew up close to the ocean and did long summer days on the beach all the time. It’s such a treat !
If a location can be your "spirit animal" a good beach would be mine. I love the pace of life in a coastal town, long days sitting on the beach enjoying the sun set and the smell of the air.
Thanks! It's the elementary that begins with a P. It seemed to go well, and it seems like a great place to work, although they mentioned something about high teacher turnover.
That’s a GREAT building!! DS1 went there for kindergarten. Some of my favorite people work there. The high turnover isn’t something I’ve noticed about that particular building. But some people suck at teaching in a higher needs building and that building isn’t as cushy as some of the other buildings in the district. 🙄

Good to know. Hey, if you know the principal, 5th grade teacher or instructional coach, maybe you could put in a good word for me. 😀
