“With sorrow—for this Court, but more, for the many millions of American women who have today lost a fundamental constitutional protection—we dissent,”

I'm on a Broadway message board and people are often complaining about poor theater etiquette. Holy shit, her behavior is awful. Beetlejuice is a great show and a jackass like her doesn't deserve to see it. I wish they kept her there for the portal to hell scene because maybe she would have gotten sucked in and we'd never have to hear from her again.
It's already an audience interactive show compared to most - we saw it in Hollywood in July.
Off the topic of Boebert, but how so? We’re seeing it this winter and I had not heard that.
Editing for more on-topic comment: a Broadway board I follow suggested using Boebert as a synonym for any audience lack of etiquette.
Beetlejuice goes on tangents and monologues that directly address the audience and calls out individuals(ie. "Oh, see this guy knows what I'm talking about!"). I had seen zero reviews but a friend had an extra ticket so I tagged along. It was really fantastic!

Really? I didn’t get that; I saw it twice on Broadway. It really is a fantastic and fun show; I highly recommend it!!! But there is no singalong, at least in the version I saw.

Yes - the cast interacts with the audience sometimes - but the audience doesn't sing along or initiate the interactions!

Same. Theater etiquette still applies for irreverent comedies. The actors can riff and joke but that doesn’t mean the audience should shout things or sing along. No.

I just can't fathom what goes through someone's head to sing along at this type of performance. I realize her head is empty, and she thought it was a ok to heckle the pres at sotu so she clearly has no home training. But, I just truly don't get how you make it to adulthood, have a professional relatively formal job, and you still can't act right.
I know there are people who get all bent out of shape about attire which I eyeroll. But it should be basic level understanding that you don't disrupt other people's experiences.
I saw a travelling Broadway show recently and a couple two rows up were talking, eating and vaping throughout the whole first half, it was insane. I was going to complain but luckily they never returned after intermission.
I got into an argument with a guy at The Music Man on Broadway during intermission because they were singing along and being SO loud behind us. He told me I was uptight and probably don't have any friends lol I was like "You're not totally wrong, but still, you need to shut up."

I don't disagree - and she doesn't strike me as the regular show attendance type.

I can’t find the meme I saw earlier to repost here. It basically said, “If Congress wants to learn how to kick out a member who breaks the rules and acts like an idiot, a theater in Denver can show you how!” with a photo of her being escorted out.

That's funny. My kids are also big Beetlejuice fans, so I told them the story, and my 11 year old asked "did they also kick her out of congress?!". Sorry, son. She's too much of a crackpot to be an acceptable musical theater audience member, but not too much of a crackpot to be involved in our country's laws.

side note: the new Beetlejuice movie is being filmed locally and it is such a big to do! We live in the boonies and having these sets built up and celebrities stopping into our little cafes is all the gossip, lol.
I don't have anything credible to back either of these statements up with besides TikTok, but apparently there was a pregnant woman behind her who asked her to stop vaping and she did not AND the person she was with was an escort... a very liberal one who owns a bar known for drag shows in Aspen. again, no source besides TT but with her nothing would shock me.
