I am looking for headphones for DD1 who is 12. She isn’t a huge fan of earbuds. Definitely not a fan of Bluetooth at all. She wants over the ear ones. They can have Bluetooth capabilities but she wants them wired as well. She despises having to remember to charge things. 🤣

Most seem so little kid like. Any ideas?
Doesn’t have a wired option, but my kid (9) has the Beats3, which are currently at Target for $99. They are Bluetooth but they pair extremely easily and they’re comfortable for him to wear for a long time on car rides.

I was looking at them. DD is a kid that HATES having to remember to charge things. She still has her wired earbuds but I know she will need headphones for school and she definitely can’t have Bluetooth there. And wants over the head ones to block out more sounds than the earbuds.

The charge lasts a really long time. Like we go weeks without charging them, and C is really bad about remembering to turn them off.

Amazon has a deal on jbl headphones. They have wired options & come in basic, not juvenile colors
DD1, who is 9, desperately wants an Apple watch. We said no, and her backup request is a Fitbit (or the equivalent). I'd love to find a deal, but even more important is knowing which one to get. I know nothing. Any suggestions? Thanks!
We've been happy with DSs GABB watch. They are 50% off right now.

A former coworker had headphones that fit this description, but he was an audiophile and I'm pretty sure they were $$$. I think they were an S-brand name, like Sony or maybe Sennheiser?
I am dumb and do not understand how to take advantage of this if we already subscribe.
Which of “we” subscribes? Cancel that one and the other starts a new one. I’ve been bouncing around between me, H, and I think one year the account was in our dogs name.
Anyone know if LLBean does a BF sale? So far I’ve only seen random 10% off.
Not sure but rakuten (ebates) had 11% back last weekend from LL Bean so when it's stacked together it's a nice discount. I'd look there over black friday weekend so see what cash back they are running.
Wait for Cyber Monday if you'll use Rakuten. The cash back might be even better.
Has anyone seen anything about streaming services deals this year? I’ve been flipping the Hulu BF deal for years, and just remembered I needed to cancel everything to flip around this year. And it got me thinking.
We're watching this too but since Disney+ is going to be gone by December, it will be reabsorbed into Hulu. Who knows how it's all going to work now.

Any gift card deals?
I decided to simplify my life this year and get gift cards for extended family, friends, teachers, etc.
At Barnes & Noble, get $10 free for every $100 in gift cards. You can buy digital or physical online or buy in person. I already bought a few of these for classmate’s birthday parties at the beginning of the school year as an easy gift to have on hand. I'm also purchasing some more gift cards for places we go often for groceries, etc. so I can hit a spending threshold for a credit card reward (which I’ll pay off right away). Barnes & Noble has a free rewards program (and a paid option but I only have the free one). The gift cards don’t get much for their rewards but I ordered a couple stocking stuffers online too.
I’ve been looking for headphones for DS, and I definitely saw a pair in the past few days where you could use them wired or not. I will try to find them again.
It’s these, which are wirecutter’s top recommendation for kids headphones. But they are for kids; I didn’t notice how old you said your son is but my DS 13 and I was worried about these not fitting.

My DD has a pair of Puro headphones, the kid's version. They are wireless but have wired capability if you forget to charge.

I thought it was the other way around? Disney+ is absorbing Hulu.

Yes, this is my understanding too. Also, the only things getting combined are the apps--the services can still be purchased separately. Also, nothing is supposed to change until March at the earliest.

Target (store) gift cards are usually 10% off the first weekend in December. ETA: Gift cards for Target, not the gift cards they sell to be used at other places.
