Of course some people cannot (exercise or walk expeditiously), and I understand that. But if you're out and about Christmas shopping and staring at your phone while wandering, I'm annoyed.
So your actual thing you don’t understand is people who walk while staring at their phone. Valid. And much different than “slow walkers!”

What? Christmas shopping is exercise too. I count my shopping as steps.
"I just don't understand people who don't care about their intelligence. People should take 30 minutes a day to care about their education and learn a new language."
See how that sounds?
Edit: you meant the slow walkers- not exercise. That's what I took issue with the most
People who make their Alma maters their entire personality. I have a coworker who talks about where she went constantly, has a tattoo of their logo, wears clothing almost exclusively in the school’s colors. You have been out of school for a decade, I don’t need to hear every 3 hours where you went to school.
This, and also people who make a college they DIDN'T go to part of their entire personality. Basically looking at my H and all his Penn State loving friends, lol.
Brussel sprouts - no amount of butter can make them taste good to me
I really only like them at least cut in half, covered in oil, and roasted so they are soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. I will never understand liking them “Al dente” or even raw.
But I also cannot stomach cauliflower and broccoli. Though broccoli rabe is decent 🤷🏻♀️
Hangovers. Like, I cannot drink more than one drink if I know I have to function the next day. It just doesn't appeal to me and I cannot understand people (those who do not suffer alcohol addiction) willingly doing that.
Not exercising. I don't care what you do, but I don't understand people who can't carve out 30 minutes a few times a week to invest in their health. I know that sounds judgy.
Slow walkers. WTF are you looking at?
Some of us enjoy being tipsy? 🤷🏼♀️
This. Also, having more than 1 drink does not make me non functional either but that's from years of practice lol.
Luxury car interiors. My eyes will be on the road, not on the quilted leather dashboard. I'm buying transportation, not "lines and curves to eye-catching, minimalist effect".
Luxury car anything for me. Cars are utilitarian. I want never to take it into the shop and for it to run 10+ years and for there to be 2 cupholders in easy reach of the driver's side (one for coffee, one for my sunglasses). Not an ugly color. Not too low to the ground. Everything other that that is gravy.
Maybe I'm cheap. Maybe it's because 99.9% of my driving is urban surface streets, but I have my doubts suspension upgrades or fancy seats would make a damn bit of difference.
People with zero color in their house/neutrals everywhere.
If it's a child's room, it moves into the "it's not fine" category for me.
My son’s(9) room is a neutral color. We moved into this house when he was just over a year old. His room has gone from gray/yellow nursery, to Disney, to whales and sharks, to some Star Wars stuff. I’m so glad I didn’t have to paint for each room change. Some wall decor and new bedding and he’s good to go.
I don't understand why there are still funeral processions. In my area it is common to see them on highways and interstates due to the area. They also hire private security that blocks traffic. They also go super slow...like below the speed limits. I would never, ever want my family to do this when I die. And no one seems to want to pass them either even when there are multiple lanes. Exceptions would be for public figures, etc.
Vegas. I have an acquaintance who LOVES Las Vegas and willingly pays to go year after year with her H instead of... literally any other destination (they are not gamblers either). I'd take a free trip there if offered, because I'm sure there are fun things to do, but it's so far down on my list of places to visit that I genuinely don't care if I never see it.

I'm not talking about the walls. I mean rooms where there is zero color anywhere, rugs, throw pillows, wall art, toys all neutrals. I've seen kids rooms on SM where the entire room is white/gray/beige

Do you mean because everyone has GPS and can find the cemetery on their own? I’ve been in few. It never occurred to me to not drive in the procession from the church to the cemetery for the practical reason of finding out where the cemetery is - especially the grave site because those places are huge, and tricky as hell to find. I wouldn’t know where to meet everyone if I wasn’t following along (and slowly, so as to not loose any cars along the way). I’ve only been waved through red lights by the police once (bc someone knew someone) and it was so nice going through 2 tricky left hand turns in NJ.
Fun fact, my mother once got confused and followed the wrong procession to the wrong grave site. Lol

My SIL is a beige mom. The whole house (including kids rooms) is off white. The children are dressed exclusively in creams and browns.
The other day she posted “wooden toys just hit different.”

YES, this is exactly the type of person I am talking about 😥

Also I was randomly at a mall today for the first time in forever and I’m going to testify that slow walkers are maddening. I know the difference between a person who is moving slowly because that may be all they can do vs the young couple that is strolling all leisurely while holding hands, in tandem so it’s a PITA to get around them. These people are staggered about every 30 feet of the entire mall. I didn’t last long.

Watching videos of other people playing video games. Or unboxing videos.
Or my husband' compulsive need to tell me every detail of whatever horror book he's reading. There's a reason I don't read it myself -- I hate horror! Stop telling me things that make me squeamish!

Oh I’m on a roll. A big holiday dinner with one dessert served. Everyone will like apple crimblefuck or no dessert for you. Holiday spreads should have multiple desserts. Fight my Italian family on this.
Spending a fortune on designer clothes for small children.
We got five huge boxes of clothes from my SIL's mom (she babysat for a family with two boys -- the mom asked her if she knew anyone who would want them).
It was tons of name-brand clothes. The more higher-end the brand, the uglier the clothing was.

My Scottish family, too. My grandmother used to host Christmas dinner for six people and enough dessert for twelve.

'Wooden toys hitting differently' makes me think they are being thrown around her house, and yes, they would hit differently than the lighter plastic ones. Lol. I do like wood toys, but I am not a neutral color person at all.
I agree with pixy0stix about buying back Halloween candy. I feel like people give out way more candy now, my kids gets handfuls from every house, it seems. Then so many people do the switch witch or take the candy to the dentist or whatever and what- is it all just being thrown away? It just feels ridiculous to me to have everyone buy and distribute candy just for the candy to be taken and a toy purchased to switch it for, just.. so much consumerism and waste.
