If so, thoughts? Or other recommendations for a comfortable sectional with cushions that won’t smoosh when my dog lays on them? I am so overwhelmed by all the options and at this point I just want to order something so I don’t have to think about it anymore lol.
I like my West Rlm couch that we’ve had since like 2015. It’s held up really well. However, their shipping times are atrocious and I had the worst time ever getting a bed delivered from them so I won’t use them again.

We have the Harris sectional. I hate it, and I hate how much we paid for it to look terrible in such a short period of time. After we moved we put it in our kids playroom and bought a different couch from Apt2B
The cushions have no internal structure, so they start looking sad and saggy super fast. Also the default grey tweedy fabric it comes in pills so easily.

THANK YOU. The thing I don’t want the most is sagging cushions. I really appreciate this feedback and will absolutely not get it lol. Thx again

I ordered this sectional from Wayfair when Macys kept delaying our order for months and months and months. We were hosting a big party and needed something ASAP, so even though I was terrified of ordering a sectional online that I had never sat on/felt, I took a gamble, and I've been really happy with it. We've had it for 2 years now, and it's held up well to my boisterous kids and 2 big dogs. We do keep blankets on it to keep the dogs from shedding ALL over it and getting it dirty, but the fabric has held up well. The bottom cushions are still in perfect shape. The very top of the back cushions show a slight indentation where heads most commonly rest, but it's not uncomfortable at all, it just doesn't look perfectly smooth. www.wayfair.com/furniture/pdp/latitude-run-hashlamoun-1132-wide-symmetrical-sectional-w007030992.html

Do you like your couch from Apt2B?
Loooove it. We opted not to get a sectional this time because of the layout of our new living room, but I'm absolutely obsessed with this couch. It has held up so well and zero sagging.
I’ve heard nothing good ever about West Elm’s soft seating. However, we have multiple tables, shelves, etc. from there that are great and I’m very happy with.
I continue to buy hard furniture from them, but won’t buy couches, armchairs, etc.
We have the west elm Harris sectional and really like it. We got it delivered right before the pandemic, so we’ve had it four years? We have four kids, including 3 boys, so it’s not like we’re easy on furniture. Through we are not particularly large/heavy people (DH is 5’8” and I am 5’3” on a good day, and all our kids are under 12), so not sure if that makes a difference. We have it in a ‘C’ shape and the chaise is storage, which is great.

I agree with this. I love our West Elm table, chairs, and coffee table. We're ordering some light fixtures soon too. I have 2 rugs from them and one is fantastic and the other is just ok. I wouldn't buy their couches based on reviews.
I've heard great things about the Pottery Barn Big Sur sectional. DH and I went to Room & Board for the first time a couple weeks ago and were super impressed with the quality and options to customize everything. I would buy anything in that store. But the sectional we actually have is from Costco and I absolutely love it, and it has held up extremely well.
We have a sectional from Lay-Z-Boy that has a similar look and has held up well to our 2 kids. I take the cushion covers off often to wash them and the cushions are really sturdy, they look and feel brand new 3 years later.
My husband (the closest equivalent that I have to your dog) sits in the same spot every day and it isn't dipping or anything on that side even though it definitely should be.
My in laws have the Pottery Barn Big Sur and as of yesterday my H and I ordered one for ourselves lol. I didn’t think we’d get the exact same one but we tried Lovesac first turboteal, my H’s coworker raves about his, but we walked over to Pottery Barn and the first one we saw is the Big Sur and my H asks if they have it in the dimensions we need and the woman said yep, so that’s the one we went with.

"Hello babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. On the outside, babies, you've got a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies-"God damn it, you've got to be kind.”
We have the West Elm Harmony 2-piece chaise sectional.
I will preface this rant with the fact that this experience has caused me to swear that I will never shop at Pottery Barn/West Elm ever again. Their customer service is TERRIBLE. I cannot overstate that enough. Do not give them any of your money.
The entire design of where the two pieces of the sectional come together was faulty, there was zero support to keep the inside of the L together - only two legs were supposed to go on the outside of the couch. If you check the website, it clearly shows two freestanding couches that are alligator clipped together, but that is NOT how it came and NOT how the delivery people set it up. There were no predrilled holes to attach the legs like it shows here: www.westelm.com/products/harmony-2-piece-chaise-sectional-h2478/?pkey=charmony-collection
We had to slip 2x4s under the couch to keep it up. They sent someone out and confirmed it was faulty, West Elm refused to send me the same couch in another fabric that was in stock, and we waited 9 months for a replacement only to have the exact same couch delivered. I refused delivery, West Elm finally agreed to just send extra legs that were needed and DH had to drill directly into the frame of the existing couch to install the legs properly, we received $$ back from West Elm.
We've had it for a few years. The fabric is excellent, it's cream performance velvet and my kids regularly eat shit like Cheetos on it and it cleans right up with water. Comfort-wise, it is full of down so it's flat unless the pillows are fluffed up. It looks okay only at that point but it fits the odd-shaped 100-year-old room perfectly. I will 100% choose the Macy's Radley we have in the basement if I want to actually lay down and watch something on TV.
I have to add, with some of the credit card points I had from buying this and other furniture, I ordered two wall sconces. They took OVER TWO YEARS to arrive. I am not exaggerating. I ordered them in October of 2021 and received them in November of 2023. I couldn't cancel the order without forfeiting the reward money I had used to buy them so I just hoped they'd show up one day. And they did, except, without the glass globes. I kid you fucking not, the only solution their customer service had was to have me return them and issue an actual refund, which I had to negotiate. They had glass globes in stock that would fit, but since the EXACT model I had ordered in 2021 was no longer available, duh, they wouldn't send them, I could only return my order. I was supposed to receive my non-expiring e-certificate in 5-10 days and that was on 12/27 and of course, they haven't sent it. So I'll have to spend more time to try and track that down.
DONE. I am never shopping there again. Do not buy that couch! Buy the Radley that everyone always suggests.
