February Wins and Losses

W/L: with H's job uncertainty we cancelled our spring break trip to AZ. Got back all our money for lodging and have a flight credit that we can use later on.

W: we've kept our spending to an absolutely minimum just to be safe. Our CC bill is so low, lol.

L: our dog needs to get some x-rays and a tooth removed, so that'll be $2k next month.

L: DH is on short term disability - our state also has a paid leave plan. His employer, his insurance company, and state are all pointing at each other and right now he's due $9,000 in back pay with no pay date in sight. If it's not corrected by Friday I'm calling the Dept of Insurance.

W: My 401K added a comma.

W: I found cheaper airfare for the spring break trip
L: the midwinter break trip was mega expensive. I knew it was coming, but the hotel and car rental were both way over what I expected. I forgot to include the hotel parking charge, and I guess California/Orange County have a zillion taxes on those things.
