The cinnamon roll with chili talk reminds me of the Krispy Kreme cheeseburger. Something I have sadly (?) never had the opportunity to try. The idea intrigues me but not enough to seek it out lol.

We don't really have a theme - we just want good food and time to chill out.

I really love that! The frosting is always my least favorite part of a cinnamon roll. My dad always rolled his eyes when I asked for him to not frost a few for me.

To clarify: my family didn't do the chili and cinnamon roll thing until we moved back to Iowa. School lunch is where we always had chili and cinnamon rolls.

I went to school in Iowa and don't remember cinnamon rolls and chili. They could have been on the menu and I just forgot. I would eat it but only with no frosting.

I might do 7 layer taco dip and chips. Or nothing lol. It's just us, no party or anything, and 3/4 of us will really only watch a few minutes for commercials and halftime.

We ended up with a snow storm so our friends cancelled. I would have cancelled if we were driving too. H ran out quickly this morning and said the roads are nasty.

H has been cooking since 9am so we are going to have a lot of food.

What??? Unfrosted cinnamon rolls??? Those exist?! I grew up in the Midwest eating chili and cinnamon rolls and they were always frosted.

I grew up not knowing that frosted cinnamon rolls were a thing. Lots of a butter sugar mixture. Yum. Maybe it's regional.
