Luckily, Jonathan Katz wasn’t. He noticed something that didn’t sound right to him. And he dug.

So she's a lying liar who lies...Who wudda thunk? 

I didn't watch....was it live or edited. I've seen videos comparing her "normal" voice vs. the rebuttal and she seemed totally different.

(RE rebuttal) I watched it and it was presented as live. I almost didn’t because after Biden did well, I didn’t want to be annoyed with a crappy, stupid rebuttal- but figured it was good to know what was being said on the other side.

OH MY GOD - it was absolutely surreal to watch and listen in real time. It was so obvious what the Rs were trying to do and it was so over coached that it passed satire into another realm. I was openly clocking “that’s a lie”, “nope”, “what the?”.

The fact that her own party completely abandoned her the next day is proof that they really hate women. Both to set her up and watch her fall. And then pounce on her broken body.

They supported Rubio's water consumption. So, if they abandon her, yep, they hate women. But we knew that already.

I'm not normally a fan of Scarlett Johansson, but her cold open on SNL last night was great. I love too that it called out the lies she told. Yes Katie Britt is being abandoned by her party and that does show the further shittiness and misogyny of the GOP, but had it gone the other way she'd be right there eating it all up. Maybe don't agree to be the face of false info and men who hurt women.

I do feel something I cannot explain that a victim is put in the hot seat.

She should be, sure, because I have the same questions. But this level of grilling is not given to men who are abusers

I totally agree, but I do think it’s fair to ask general population how they can support a convicted rapist. She just kept saying he’s not because it was t proven in criminal court only in civil. So yeah..I understand your aspect but she’s also a flaming idiot and I thought George was being firm but respectful. It is a thin line though.

Oh, absolutely these are fair questions. And she's absolutely a flaming idiot. She definitely should be called to answer for support of such a criminal. Saying it's civil instead of criminal is the most stupid weak defense.

I just hate that these questions are not asked of the men in the same way.

Congresswoman Katie’s rebuttal was so terrible that she’s being eviscerated by her own party. Which is mostly just men saying what they really think about women out loud.
