I just impulse-bought a pool table. A high school friend was selling it for $100 to get it out of his basement and my brother has a truck. HOWEVER, this will involve a lot of rearranging in OUR basement, lol. But it also can be a ping pong table and has a cover and everything and DS just turned 13 this week so it feels like it's worth getting all his unused toy storage and stuff out of there and moving something more usable in. Or at least that's how I'm going to justify it.
I somehow got on a curly hair algorithm on FB. I have curly hair, but I don’t want to be this high maintenance curly person. They shower and then re-drench their hair and add product. Not my thing.

bsp36 and tacocat we are planning on having a blast. And at the end of the day, it may make life easier while there because we don't have to herd the cats the ILs or feel like we need to balance time - we will just do what we want to do.
But we also have won't plan any future trips around them.
Managed to get everything done today and get up to the mountains before dinner. Winnie is doing great at my MIL’s. She’s such a sweet, adaptable pup. I’m glad she’s doing well and not stressed, but I cannot wait to see her on Friday. I adore that little girl.
I need to get some work done in the morning since I’m supposed to be taking the week off. Hoping I can get most everything knocked out in 3-4 hours so I can go ski with the kids in the afternoon.
I’m really glad this is the last week of ski season. Planning to make the most of it, but I’m excited for summer weather and hiking and hopefully some low-key, relaxing weekends ahead once we’re done with a crazy April.
My anxiety kid has thrived in theater too. It's something about knowing exactly what to do, what to say, how to act and being a character that makes it easier.
Yay for another theater kid!
That makes so much sense!
I was going to say this. I have a debilitating fear of public speaking. I cannot speak in public to save my life. But I can get on stage and sing. It’s a character, not me, and that makes all the difference. I’m happy for your kids!
"Hello babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. On the outside, babies, you've got a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies-"God damn it, you've got to be kind.”

I slept until 10:30! DS is at his dads. I planned to be productive while he was gone, but have barely moved from the recliner with my moms cat and a cup of coffee.

We did Easter Baskets a week early since we are on an overnight from Saturday to Sunday next week. 9yo no longer believes so he just tore into it when he woke up and had already read his new Dog Man book before I woke up 🤣
