Spent half of last night in the ER with DH. His heart was skipping every 4th beat and did that for about 24 hours. Got home by 3 but I'm a little wrecked today and he's insisting it's all normal again. la la la.
wanderingback there are people like that on my local page too. They'll just take anything! Last summer I bought a pack of fun glasses for 4 of us to wear to Elton John. He was performing the following night as well, so the next day I posted them there in case someone else could use them for the concert. I told the first responder she could have them even though she's one of those "take anything" people. Then other people commented they were going to the concert and would love them, so she told me to give them to someone who could actually use them for the concert. I remember thinking WTF did she want them for?? Does she run one of those photo booths with all the fun props? LOL.
I post stuff there all the time but can count on one hand the number of times I've picked up something from someone else. It has to be a really specific thing that I happen to need at that moment!
Lol that’s funny.
I’ve gotten a few good things. Stuff goes so fast on mine since there’s so many people. My best find so far is one of those Montessori learning towers that toddlers can stand on to reach the counter. My daughter loves it! It was actually raffled (most of the time people don’t raffle on ours) and I won!
A few times I’ve been tempted to get something when I happen to see the listing first, but then I pull myself together and say I really don’t need that! I hate stuff in general, but when it’s free it is tempting haha.
I always do a random number generator, even if only 3 people respond.
In my old neighborhood, people always did this and I appreciated it so much. I can't be on FB 24/7, so I am less likely to be the first to respond. But in my new neighborhood, people will gift to the first responder each time and it kind of annoys me. I understand priority can be given to whomever can pick up quickest, but give it an hour!
My stomach…thing (random nausea, no diagnosis despite many many tests) has been acting up so much these last two weeks and I am OVER it. I had to leave the office early today and finish the day at home. And my boss is super understanding, but I worry I sound nuts or like I’m lying trying to explain and also just hate feeling sick.
And speaking of bosses, I think a move at work is going to happen and will be good for my career, but it means I’d report to someone else and I hope they’re as cool! Lol
I had random nausea a couple years ago and it turned out to be H. Pylori. It was diagnosed from a stool sample (of course this was done after a bunch of blood tests, a cat scan and MRI).

I know this can be scary. This is my normal, though, and after years of cardiologists and months long continuous monitoring, they have said it's benign. It's uncomfortable for sure. It's why I cut out daily coffee. I'll still indulge on occasion because I love it, having a morning coffee with a book, but I know the next 24 hours I'll deal with it.
I hope your h's situation is as benign as mine.
ETA It's not the skipped beats that brought me into hospital and that merrygoround. I'll occasionally go extremely tachy. It happened as a nursing student, so they brought me straight to ER. It turns out that was also benign. It was through all that workup that they realized my PVCs that I'd had for a decade prior were regular and ok.
One caffeinated night shift in ICU in nursing school I knew it was acting up, and we were pretty bored, so we threw on leads. I got a U wave which is definitely not normal. I had lots of staff around come and witness and laugh. No one was worried. I really hope it's like that for your H.

I have had an H. Pylori test done, but it was the kind where you take/eat something and they breathe into a bag or something like that? From what I remember.

I’ve gotten than for years, like literally since I was a kid. I think it’s part anxiety but also part some acid reaction. And the only reason I say that is because I’ve “self medicated” with cimetidine forever and 9/10 times it calms it down within an hour.
I’ve tried to food journal but there’s no real pattern. Definitely happens more after eating greasy foods within the past day, but can be when nothing greasy has been eaten.
