I make coconut rice with Hawaiian chicken that everyone seems to like.
I also made a Greek rice bowl that we all liked too, but the tzatziki wasn't right. Im planning to look up a different recipe for that next time I make it. pin.it/qiKjo9fGq

Last summer I had an abundance of herbs from my garden so I chopped up a bunch (chives, parsley, lemon thyme, basil) and tossed it in some white rice with a good tablespoon or 2 of salted butter and the zest and juice of a lemon. It was some of the best rice I've had.
Rice is one of those things that illustrates what a horrible cook I really am. I think I've cooked it well maybe twice in my life. We use the microwaveable packets of brown rice and quinoa. lol
Rice cooker all the way! I am terrible at making rice on the stove and I'm a good cook (if I do say so myself LOL). My H is Korean and he has a fancy, super expensive rice cooker and it is a game changer. I had a cheap one from Walmart before we moved in together and it was fine too. So much easier than making it on the stove and it comes out way better.
We have a rice cooker. We use a lot of different varieties of furikake to mix it up. Once I got the rice cooker, I stopped cooking rice on the stove so that’s the easiest way to season it! Or add spices to the cooker.
I don’t have a rice cooker, but I use my instant pot just about every single time I make rice now, and it’s great! I really like being able to set it up, forget it, and go onto the rest of the meal without worrying about if it’s boiling over, or not boiling enough.
