arielroux , congrats on this decision! I'm graduating with my MA in OD and leadership next month. I worked full-time, so it took 2.5 years, but I really enjoyed the program!
Congratulations!! That is awesome, so happy for you!
I got my hair dyed with the "expensive brunette" trend, a fresh, cute strawberry manicure, a surprise business class upgrade on the train to NYC this morning and I'm going to see Billy Joel tonight at MSG, a hotel bed all to myself and no child, dog or husband to be responsible for today. 🎉🥳
Thank youuu! Same to you! Hope your day was wonderful.
We are going to get weather, already confirmed tornado. My parents are supposed to be driving into town later, right in the middle of it. I am stuck at work and it will blow up and get busy soon and I am just unsettled. More about them driving in than being stuck at work late in a Friday.
Quoting myself. Parents made it safe they were in the back side of the storms. But we had massive tornados in the state capital and all around my city-devastating.

How was the Billy Joel concert??
So good! He only has 3 shows left and seeing him on my birthday in NY was such a great experience. I finally got to hear him sing Vienna live-- so that made my night! Thanks for asking! ❤️

I was thinking of your parents last night when our news showed footage of people driving toward a massive tornado that was crossing the road they were on. I'm so glad you're all ok!

Thank you!! It is just amazing but so heartbreaking at the same time.
Anyone have a DBA (Doctorate of Business Administration)? I still have a year left of my MBA, but I'm really considering getting a DBA. I'm just not sure where to get it from. None of my local universities offer it. A few local universities offer a PHD in Business, but I think I'd prefer the DBA, it sounds like it's more practical and applicable and less theoretical. The DBA would give me more options as I move up, but I'm honestly considering using it to teach, even adjunct, particularly as I get closer to retirement. I've mostly enjoyed doing my MBA so the extra 3 years on a DBA doesn't worry me. FI is super supportive of it, and honestly really encouraging it.
