She had hip dysplasia and Intervertebral disc disease, and her mobility was getting worse, but on Tuesday/Wednesday last week she could not stand at ALL. She did not seem to be in any pain, which was good. We took her to the ER vet Wednesday night, it was the sweet young female vet, she was so thorough and kind. She felt it was just progression of the IVDD, we tried a few more meds, did an x-ray to make sure her bladder wasn’t full b/c we were having trouble getting her to pee, she was leaking a little.
Well by Friday she was just peeing all over herself, I was feeding her by holding her in my lap, and she was leaking on me. So we made the decision.
Thanks for all of your support with my animals over the years:) It means a lot. We’re doing ok, there’s definitely some relief, and selfishly life is easier for us. For the first time in YEARS we have nobody on meds or prescription food. We have 3 youngish, healthy animals, down from 5 in Jan. It just feels kind of empty without her.
We reluctantly did Heaven’s Pets again, so help me God if she gets the double cremation package like Meatball 🤦🏼♀️🤣.
Ok douche, go ahead and call it mud. My husband DID have halitosis. We addressed it after I talked to you girls on here and guess what? Years later, no problem. Mofongo, you're a cunt. Eat shit. ~anonnamus

I'm so very sorry for your loss. I had to make that decision for one of my cats almost 2 weeks ago. It is never easy. It is the greatest gift to give them and the deepest pain to feel.
