Stories of Nest Past

I'll tell you about the only two times I've been flamed in the past 6 years, which aren't that much in the way of stories.

The first time was when STFUtruck did not like my use of spelt as a past-participle of the verb spell. Apparently in the US, [glow=red,2,300]spelt[/glow] is only used for the grain, and [shadow=red,left,300]spelled[/shadow] for the verb. She clearly did not realize that other variations of english use spelled and spelt interchangeably. Not much of a story, but she made a huge call out that flopped.


The only other time I've incited flames was one day in conversation about wether or not designers actually make decent clothes for obese women. I posted a link to a site with some nice dresses... but tonif found some hilariously awful ones on there are it distorted my entire argument. I am pretty sure some dresses made signatures for a while.
I totally did not win there.

No, he doesn't like them. I have no problem with them and never had an issue with ex-bfs going. I have gone many time to see the ladies.

No. He says most of the girls in strip clubs are not anything he'd want to look at. (We don't exactly have high class strip clubs in our area, LOL).
Wasn't it Paul Newman who said, "Why go out for a hamburger when I can have steak at home?" ;P

he's been before. but not since we started dating. he did have strippers at his bachelor party. which i think is pretty gross...

NO! Not only do I think that a strip club is no place for a married man, let alone a new daddy, DH also HATES sluts.
I know what thoes strippers do, some friends of mine got blow jobs from strippers, and they were not very attracitve men! I would hate to think of what thoes strippers would do to my SEXY husband.

I should answer my own question.

He has been. He doesn't really like them either, Oh and he always picks fights with the strippers. He is never the one to suggest it. But he is probably going on wed after his work party. So that is why I brought it up.

We have been to some together by the way.

DH goes when all of the guys are going too, but its been years since he's been. He doesn't really enjoy going and he doesn't go to just hang out. I don't mind as long as he is honest with me and doesn't lie about where he's been

Nope. He knows the whole thing is just a charade to get money, and those that aren't faking it are pretty nasty. Actually, he thinks they're all pretty nasty. It's not what dh considers a good night out. He's too smart to enjoy that kind of nasty fakeness

Aww. Its cute that you think a man's physical attrictiveness would have anything to do with it. They do it for money - they are probably thinking about their grocery lists while doing it.

No, but he has gone before we were together! Oh and I think he probably went for his bachelor party. Almost every strip club around has been shut down due to things they shouldn't have been doing!!! I have never set foot in one and don't plan too. I'm a little uncomfortable with girls dancing around me with their boobs hanging out.

I'm just going to throw this out there knowing how much drama it could stir up. I would consider leaving DH if he did go to strip clubs. It says a lot about his character, his commitment to our marriage, and his faithfulness (yes, I would consider that an affair of types) if he chooses to go.

I do know he's had the opportunities to go prior to us getting together, I do know some men (who we are no longer friends with) have tried to convince him to go recently. He has made the choice to honor me instead.

No, when we were dating he was over at his friend's house hanging out with a bunch of guys and someone suggested calling a stripper. She started stripping and he decided he wasn't in to it, so he left. I guess she made fun of him for leaving, but he didn't care. Oh, and she had sex with DH's friend afterwards. Klassy, huh?
