I’m sure RFK Jr’s candidacy hopes are going to be lost to history. But when I am old and my grandkids ask about this crazy election cycle and how millions of MAGA voters embraced the crazy rantings of Trump, I’m going to tell them that there was an even crazier guy that people wanted to vote for, too.

It baffles me that people who I thought leaned a little left, or at least were independents and not die hard Rs or MAGAs, thought he was a viable candidate. I guess it was simply anybody but the two old guys a couple months ago. Yeah, hate the 2 party system and vote independent if you must but don’t simply vote for whatever random independent there is. Make sure their policies align with you and they are not insane! I do think the brain worm and bear stories deterred people.

Anyone but the two old guys- like this 3rd old guy?!

I grew up in MA. There are still people who just saw the last name and supported him; as all the freaky shit came to light, that peeled some of that segment of support away, thankfully.

I have to believe any folks that were voting for RFK Jr. instead of Trump won’t now vote for the Danger Yam and will decide, instead, to just sit this one out.

“Danger Yam”. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I’m sick and already can’t breathe. You’re killing me. 😂

I wish I could take credit for the nickname, but I borrowed it from someone else. I’ve avoided using most other nicknames for him, but this one speaks to me. 🤣
I saw an RFK bumper sticker out in the wild the other day. I had to read it through a few times just to verify that what I was seeing wasn't a joke sticker.

@@@
My son (18) had a friend over a few weeks ago and RFK Jr. came up. My son asked me what I thought of him and I, thinking this was a unity horse, started going on about what a nutjob he was and how outlandish his views were. Two days later I was driving by his friend's parents house and there was an RFK sign out front lol. I felt bad but not really. I'm curious to see if they replace it with a Trump sign.

I walk by a house with an RFK yard sign. I definitely did a triple take first time I saw it.

I saw several "health & fitness" types go all in for him because of his anti-vax, anti-pharma stance despite all the other crazy stuff, which they just seemed to ignore entirely.

But he's jacked and does manly things like eat meats. /s
The orgs where he actually did good environmental work in the 90s have dropped any association with him for these anti-science positions.
I watched a clip of Trump’s event today where he introduced RFK, Jr., to My Hero by the Foo Fighters. I can’t imagine Dave Grohl is too happy about that. RFK Jr. only spoke for a few minutes, and I didn’t pay too close attention, but it sounded like he wants healthy children, no toxins, and “~corporations to get out of federal health agencies.” 🧐
I'm nervous how this impacts Harris vs Trump numbers. I am holding on to the fact that not every single RFK voter will vote for Trump but there will probably be a lot in swing states.
