More despicable MAGAt behavior (local incident)

We own a cottage in a very red part of our purple state. I’m in a town fb group. Someone posted today that in the middle of the night last night someone took their political sign (Harris/Walz of course), leaned it up against a boat they had for sale in the front yard, and set it on fire.

Luckily they someone saw it and called the fire department so only the boat was destroyed and it didn’t spread to the house.

Arson. JFC. Of a regular person. A neighbor. That’s not going to stop Harris from winning, AH. I really hope the arsonist gets arrested and prosecuted.

Who wants to bet the angry arsonist is benefiting from a federal or state program that the Republicans plan to cut in their Project 2025 handbook?

Annnnd cue the person coming into the chat claiming it was most likely a Democrat who did it trying to make republicans look bad because “they do that shit all the time”.

I’m tempted to respond something along the lines of “dems don’t have to make republicans look bad, they do that well enough on their own” but I also don’t want to make myself a target.
