Can you replace JUST a backsplash in a kitchen? Or would you have to do counters and cabinets too?

And I mean replace, not cover.

I don’t see why not…. You definitely don’t need to do the cabinets. We did backsplash, sink and counter together but that was by choice.

I want to know this too!  We have beautiful counters but I hate the backsplash.  I'm afraid removing the old tiles will ruin the countertop.

Yes, they may have to do some drywall repair depending, but it's doable.

I had dinner with friends last night and we booked a girls trip to Phoenix/Scottsdale. I’m looking so forward to it. It’s been a while since I traveled without another person to be responsible for, and these 2 women are great. We are going to hike, lay by the pool, eat.

I do my makeup and hair as if I was going to be in person, and put on a work top but generally wear leggings or sweats in the bottom. I’m on video for almost all of my many meetings though.

Why is getting a dermatology appointment so hard After my last episode of cellulitis in July my PCP said to make an appointment with a dermatologist. I called in July and first available was 11/1 (another practice was even further out). The cellulitis is back again- 3rd time. I called and they moved the appointment up to 9/20 and pretty much said that I can't be seen sooner since I am not an established patient. I have a message into my pcp to see what to do. I don't think whatever is causing it is not being resolved by the antibiotics because it's the same location and size each time. And my symptoms are always the same - red and warmth in the area, headache, feeling achy and low fever 100.3, hot/cold. There is no broken skin, scratches or bug bites. I hate my body.

circa1978 I’m pushing for an AirBnB. So many have their own pools. With 3, a hotel is hard unless you want to share a bed or get a few rooms. We are also kicking around The Scottsdale Plaza Resorts.

I’ve been to Phoenix and Sedona many years ago and it was lovely. It seems like a great place for a girls trip.

dish2501, I can see that! I'm also noticing as I've been looking at resorts how many have remodeled to put bathtubs in the middle of the room. Like, even if I'm traveling with my H, it's more of a treat to take a bath by my own fucking self, and I really don't want to shower in front of my BFF? LOL.

cville, My friend just did an update of her kitchen. She has gorgeous walnut flat panel cabinets with a MCM feel, she planned to replace just the backsplash but didn't like the busy granite with her choice and added a countertop as well. The installer was willing to do it either way.

Yes! This is big in Cancun/Riveria Maya too. My children and pets already follow me to the bathroom. I sure don’t need a tub in the open.

We originally were looking at Charleston, but the flight times from Chicago were terrible. There are so many flights to Phoenix.

Would you consider San Francisco? DH and I loved it. We did a private wine tour. It was perfect.

When I wfh, I did change out of my jammies, but it was into other comfy clothes. I also gained 12 pounds that I dropped once I started coming into the office again without changing anything else.

I'm a bit nervous to start my hybrid job where I'm in office 2 days, and wfh for 3.

Loofahs as kitchen decor, decorating cakes on a windy beach and the Kwanzaa cake episode...her show had to be some sort of experiment.

DH called and put a massage on my account for Mother's Day and I'm finally trying to use it. I put next Friday at 9am or 11am or Saturday at 9am.

They just sent me an appointment for Friday at 12pm. It wasn't even a "Hey, we can't get you in until 12, is that ok?" They just made the appt.

I'm bracing myself for the fact that I will need the PD to force her to leave on Friday. I can deal w standard teen angst. This ?!?  I can't handle this .....
