Honestly, it doesn't matter to me if Antarctica is near, at, or beyond the point of no return. I'm going to continue dedicating a significant portion of my life to this because I couldn't be content if I weren't doing so. And we're way too far into the crisis of climate change to worry about exactly where we are.

That it's drifting to warmer waters which will accelerate melt is terrifying.
I have an entire sci Fi image in head of an army of tugboats pushing it back and making it reattach. Pure fantasy I know, just like the fantasy of people caring enough to truly address the coming catastrophe.
