Thursday randoms

It's in the high 90s here. Today I told my coworker I was dreaming of snow because I drenched my clothes in sweat 4x today. (I'm an elementary school para so I'm outside for recesses and crosswalk duty.) Tomorrow will be 99.

That’s so cute and funny. When I was 6, I saw my mom checked out a library book that said Periods and it had a giant black dot on a white cover. In my little brain I was thinking, what a boring book! Why would anyone write a novel about punctuation??!! When I was older I realized it was about the menstrual cycle and my mom was trying to figure out how to talk to my older sister about puberty 😂

I had a Drs appt at 3pm today and the instructions said to fast for it. I was so hangry and caffeine deprived by lunch time! I think the appointment was originally in the morning but I had to reschedule due to getting Covid. When I got there I found out they didn’t need to draw blood so I didn’t really need to fast 😫 It was a really great appointment though and I was able to address a lot of health stuff that’s been on the back burner and left with several referrals to specialists.

We went to back to school night and this was hanging in DS’s classroom.

Most children wrote something to the effect of “excited,” “nervous,” etc.

Nothing. The son of an administrator and school counselor has no feelings on school. Feel like we are doing a great job over here lol😂

Just skinny or straight leg. I used to love wit and wisdom, but they changed and now it’s 50/50. Plus I don’t need series distressing or whiskers or whatever.

I don't know what your body type is, but I'm obsessed with my Express FlexX 90s straight jeans. Each letter size constitutes 3 number sizes, they're so stretchy. But they don't get baggy! So I get a high rise M which is 6,8,10 which works great for my 10" difference between my waist and hips/butt.
