Liz Cheney says Dick will vote for Harris. So Not on my bingo card. Liz also said Ted Cruz is not a serious candidate. In AUSTIN TODAY. ππππππππππππππππππππππ She thinks Collin Allred is the candidate to get legislation done.
Dick Cheney is 82 and more than anything, probably wants a few more happy holidays with his family. Can you imagine dinner at his daughterβs house if he didnβt back Harris/Walz?
Iβll give him credit that he cut down Trump with his whole chest. It was scathing.
When freaking shot my friend in the face Emperor Palpatine says 45 is insupportable, that's saying something.
I cherished my βCheney/Voldemort β08β bumper sticker so am also amazed, but, I have to say, pleasantly surprised. (I also thought he died). Less surprised about Liz given how outspoken sheβs been. I hope it gets through to a few people, but Iβm not optimistic.
Am I the only one that thought Dick Cheney had died?
Last year, about this time, I went to a trivia night where one of the βin between roundβ games was making the choice if someone was dead or alive. I got out because of him!
Am I the only one that thought Dick Cheney had died?
Absolutely not. In the last decade or so every time I hear his name I think "wait, isn't he dead?" Probably because his numerous heart attacks and eventual transplant.
Am I the only one that thought Dick Cheney had died?
H read me the CNN headline on his phone and I totally said βyou mean Liz Cheney, Dick Cheney is deadβ. I didnβt believe him until he showed me the phone. π

Itβs pretty telling that Obama, Bill Clinton, and Hillary Clinton spoke at the DNC and at the RNC it was crickets from former candidates.
Chris Christie will probably do something dumb like write in Ronald Reagan a la Larry Hogan, but I hope more people come out in support if Harris, like Romney.

A lot of former candidates are clearly spineless masochists because they'll roll over and endorse someone who has launched the most baseless attacks and childish insults. Maybe they actually have a line for how sycophantic they'll act and in stage praising him to the nation is it. Certainly it's not because they've found a soul or morals it just basic human decency
I donβt know how many people itβll take being called RINOs before maybe they realize that all of those RINOs are actually Republicansβ¦and the rest are MAGATs.
It seems like just about the only big name Republicans who continue to endorse Trump are the ones who still need the votes of his base. Anyone who is no longer seeking power of their own or status in todayβs political world has jumped ship.
Am I the only one that thought Dick Cheney had died?
I knew he was still with us. My brother who lives in Cheyenne would have sent a group text to his sisters if Dick had died. All of those heart surgeries extended his life.
I didn't have the Cheneys supporting the 2024 Dem ticket on my bingo card either.

LOL that's amazing! Who else was up for debate?
I honestly donβt remember. I probably wouldnβt have remembered any of it, except for this post, lol. Actually one of the VanDykeβs, that IS still alive but got a lot of people out. Or the other way around. It was HARD!
I actually really liked how bernard phrased it. "What I think Dick and Liz Cheney are saying is that in this existential moment in American history, itβs not just issues. Cheney and I agree on nothing β no issues. But what we do believe in is that the United States should retain its democratic foundations.β
