How are you feeling about the election post-debate?

I'm still concerned. I wish she would take a stronger stance against Israel, instead of playing "who loves Israel more?" with Trump. that would go a long way for many Gen Z people who are undecided because they are watching a genocide unfold in the palm of their hand.

Our governor is trying to call a special session to change it to winner take all (Nebraska splits their electoral votes), but from my understanding is they don’t actually have the votes to do this.

Let's not forget what is working against us - in Texas and Florida (and probably others, but these are the ones i watch), the government has significantly purged voter rosters for democrats. While covid killed a bunch of the MAGA covid deniers, it also killed Dems. In TX, anyone who moved in the last 2 years may be suspended because their addresses need to be confirmed. Who is more likely to own property and not move? Republicans. Republicans are coming after anyone with foreign-sounding names. Paxton just lost his lawsuit against Bexar County (San Antonio) for sending out voter registration ballots. He and Abbott are doing everything they can to suppress votes in blue areas. And they are preparing to challenge any votes they don't like as well.

They will significantly challenge mail-in votes for college students. We need to empower college students to get to their home districts during early voting. I'm offering to drive freshmen I know who don't have cars. If there are enough, I have a second driver who can follow me up and back to carpool them home.

Postcards to Voters had a campaign to write to all Democrats in Florida with past Vote by Mail to remind them to re-enroll. If you know people in these states text them Iwill vote.com website link to check registration status.
