The attack ads here for Rep. Jared Golden (D) are accusing him of being a democrat and voting with the democrats 80% of the time. That’s all. No policy attacks or character attacks. Just he’s a democrat who supports democrat policies.

Beto only lost by 2 points in 2018. I was surprised it was that close because, Texas.

Colin Allred is now polling 1 point ahead of Ted Cruz in the Texas Senate race. I know rolls are not reliable and that’s within the margin of error but holy shit, it would be huge to flip that seat.

In Indiana we have Sen Mike Braun (R) vs Jennifer McCormmick (D) for governor. We are a very red state, but I'm praying McCormmick wins. Braun's choice for Lt Governor is a Christian nationalist Micah Beckwith. Beckwith recently stated Indiana voters have a choice between "godly boldness" and "the Jezebel spirit".

Maryland's annoyingly close senate race has progressed to the point where I'm constantly getting ads, both on social media and the rare times I watch actual network TV (sports games, waiting roooms).

Alsobrooks apparently made a mistake not cancelling/transferring her homestead property tax exemption when she bought a second home and rented out the first, and of course the GOP jumped all over it, but it's fucking annoying. First of all - she's paying it back. Second - I do believe it was truly an honest mistake, it's not like lying on a tax return. The bill comes, you pay it. The end. And most people aren't total weirdos like me who regularly look at SDAT for funsies such that she'd see the notation that she was still getting that exemption. and Third - IT WASN'T EVEN A MISTAKE IN HER FAVOR. She was paying less property tax on the rental than she should have, but MORE than she should have on the home she was living in, which is assessed higher.

I really wish shit like this didn't have to be news. It's so petty.

In the meantime, Hogan is talking about not supporting federal transit funding for the project he tried to kill as Governor that our current gov brought back to life. It's almost refreshing to dislike a candidate so firmly on the issues rather than because he's a hateful mouthbreathing slimeball, but at the end of the day I do totally disagree with him on the issues and he'll vote with the R's and I really really really don't want him to win. Doing our best here not to screw up the senate for yall from a blue state, but damn it's closer than it ought to be.

Im not sure if youre responding to what i said or just sharing a related tidbit...but i didnt say he would vote for the r's. I said he'd vote with them. In the senate.

Of course he's not endorsing trump. He's not a mouthbreathing slimeball. Also not voting trump in MD is easy political math. He was never ever going to take this state, so you can have principals knowing that it wouldnt accomplish anything for your party anyway. I'd love to know what he'd have done in PA, but thats all speculation.

I texted my nieces and nephews reminding them to register to vote and check on their voter registrations before their state deadlines (and forwarded social media posts explaining how). Some of them live in states like Missouri and are surrounded by MAGAts but they’ve had my positive influence ✨and want better for their futures.

Tonight I’m going to a small campaign event for a local position of a D running against an incumbent R in our very blue area. It’s literally just a wine night GTKY / Q&A at a friend’s house who knows her. It should be fun and I’m glad I can support them!

My kid and I did some canvassing this past Sunday. I was nervous because it was "persuasion canvassing" (lol) and I've only ever done GOTV canvassing, but it went fine. These were supposed to be undecided voters but most of the people who actually answered their door said they were voting for Kamala and that their top issue was "getting rid of Trump," which cracked me up. We knocked 36 doors in a suburban part of Madison, WI.

I texted my niece that lives in WI a reminder and she has already mailed in her ballot! Told her to remind her brother who just turned 18.

I have covered all but 29 doors in my precinct (out of 150). They are all registered D's but low propensity voters. They're all getting voter guides with highlighted candidates to show who to vote for. We are trying to break the R supermajority in the senate/house in KS.

Got 2500 postcards stamped and labeled with a group of volunteers this week. These are all for the state senate campaign I'm the volunteer coordinator for.

I have done one postcard writing campaign for GA voters and am now working on another one for PA. I have shared voting registration info on social media and reached out to family to check their status. Signs are out and I may try to do a canvassing event soon. Not many days left, let's get it done!
