DD is 9 and as she gets older it will be tougher to take her out of school.
I have a new job that I can’t take off during trade shows, which unfortunately is often during spring break or NJEA (during which I would only have to pull her for 3 days instead of 5).
We have been during jersey week, and while crowded it was totally doable and we had a great time.
There is nothing conflicting with Easter/spring break this year, and I was able to take the week off. Initially we were thinking of doing half the week in DC and the other half in Philly, but I just looked at flight and hotel and it’s not that bad.

We’re doing spring break next year, too. We’ve never really been at a traditionally busy time, but my mom has taken grandkids during spring break and it’s been fine. Probably the busiest for us was Mardi Gras and a few run weeks and it was fine.
We’re just making sure to budget out for lightning lanes and have a plan. Disney is always busy! We’re also going to do some of the after hours parties (that’s probably not the right name, but the ticketed events for the late nights) and will hopefully be able to enjoy more of the parks with those times.

Oooh, will there be after hours parties then?? I’ll have to look into that!

Yes! Definitely check it out. We’ve done them before and they are awesome - free sodas, popcorn and ice cream and they really limit attendance. We’ll be able to do Hollywood Studios and Magic Kingdom while we’re there.
We were at Disney during Easter (our Spring Break) this year. Easter itself we did at Magic Kingdom. It was busy but not insane. Monday we did Animal Kingdom which was not busy. Tuesday was absolutely CRAZY BUSY at Hollywood Studios. We did genie+ and stayed on property and it was all very manageable. We saw and rode everything and loved our trip. It seemed like as the week went on it got busier and busier if that helps.

Thank you!!
Our spring break will end on Easter so we’ll be flying home that day.
We’ll be staying at the Swan which will give us the 7 day booking, we definitely plan on doing the multi and single passes for everything. Great to know it’s doable, thank you!!

Swan should also get you access to the early magic hour. We went during spring break in 2022. It was crowded but we still had lots of fun. Also remember spring break is a different week around the country so it’s not like Christmas where everyone has that week off.

That’s what I’m hoping, that it will be less crowded than Christmas break. Between not everyone having the same spring break, plus if they revolve around Easter, some start with it and some end with it.
Since Christmas break and Easter break seem to be our only options, hoping this is the lesser of two evils, lol.
