I just had hurricane memories pop up in my facebook today. We got 20" of rain with Florence, but there was ample warning for my area. Closer to Wilmington, where this article is talking about, they got as much as 38"! Schools were closed for months. The kids had to go to nearby towns. I hope the water recedes quickly.
