I know I don't post much here so please let me know if this has already been covered, but this is pretty big news. Olivia Nuzzi (NY Magazine reporter) has been placed on leave after admitting to a relationship with RFK Jr this year.

Also I haven't understood why Cheryl Hines has stayed with him but my god that Kennedy money cannot be worth it.

Even so. Unless the personal relationship was an intervention to try to bring him back to reality, it is unfathomable to me why anyone would find that /gestures towards his overtanned mess/ alluring.

What’s even crazier is he says they met only once and it was an interview that led to a hit piece.

I don't believe they only met once and I don't believe it wasn't physical, but at a minimum, it seems it was "romantic". He has a history and she called off her engagement a few weeks ago.

It's SO WEIRD that they're attracted to and exalted by the GOP, which is totally focused on conservative economic policy and small government and not at all on furthering and maintaining power for straight white folks through a wholesale embrace of racist, classist, misogynistic, and homophobic ideals and policies.
