Trump Gave Putin COVID Tests in 2020 When They Were Scarce

In 2020, when COVID testing was hard to come by, Trump sent his buddy Putin some free test machines for his own personal use. This was at the same time he was lying through his teeth about how COVID wasn't dangerous or a big deal. Putin then warned him not to tell anyone because it would hurt him (Trump) politically.

Every time I think I can't possibly get angrier, I do.

I saw this headline and same with others, I didn't think he could shock me but this one does. It is SO WRONG!!! I'm mad and I hope this gets picked up and Republicans have to squirm while figuring out how the fuck to defend it. He's so awful, how can this election be this close?!?

He didn’t just send the tests. He sent the actual testing machines that were in short supply and that our hospitals needed. (I don’t know if anyone here is confused about that, but a lot of people seem to think it was the tests themselves, but it was much worse than that.)

I work at a healthcare-adjacent company and spent a lot of 12-14 hour days in 2020 trying to help large hospitals manage their tiny supplies of testing machines, ventilators, and convalescent plasma. I cried most days.

I learned this after reading a different article and yes, it is even worse.  I can't believe people aren't more outraged about this.  And the Kremlin confirmed it!  So they can't even lie and say it isn't true.
